■Five heroes, a special forces unit of the world's elite

In the Campaign Mode, you will meet the unique and fascinating operators who pioneered Task Force One, a special forces unit that gathered the world's best and brightest.
Five heroes-Richard Webb, Arthur Kingsley, Polina Petrova, Lucas Riggs, and Wade Jackson-form an international squad to completely bury the threat and end World War II.

Throughout the campaign, you will learn how they became the pioneers and heroes of Task Force One.

■Multiplayer mode for more tactical fun with new modes
New modes and ways to play are now available in the multiplayer mode for an even more immersive experience. In CHAMPION HILL, a survival tournament that combines multiple arena stages, strategy, tactics, and fast action, and PATROL, where players compete for points by securing targets that keep moving across the map.

In addition, 20 different maps have been available since the first day of launch. New gun battle mechanics, environmental object destruction, more flexible weapon customization, blind fire, and bullet customization are now available to enjoy more tactical gameplay.

■Unparalleled thrills and exhilaration, four-player cooperative play to confront the zombie hordes
Zombies mode takes place in Stalingrad in 1944. Players will engage in a four-player cooperative battle against hordes of zombies spawned by the power of the Dark Aether, which also appeared in the previous "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" title.

In addition to familiar systems such as weapon upgrades using pack-a-punch, the new zombie mode adds new features that expand the scope of play. One of these is The Altar of Covenants.
By inserting the loot item "Sacrificial Heart" into this "The Altar of Covenants," random upgrades can be selected in between battles. The battle can develop differently in each match.

Cutting-edge "Call of Duty" experience with next-generation technology
The next-generation engine used in this title is the same one introduced in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" and provides optimized performance with breathtaking visual fidelity, live-action realism, and characters that look as if they are alive.

Players playing on PS5 will also enjoy an even more immersive experience. The ultra-fast SSDs will load extremely fast, 3D audio will make you feel as if you are actually fighting on the battlefield, and ray tracing will make flames and shadows feel more realistic.
We hope you will experience the most advanced Call of Duty experience ever.

It's easy to play with friends all over the world! Many features that make this title even more enjoyable
Cross-play is supported regardless of hardware, and cross-generation is also supported between PS5 and PS4, so you can enjoy heated battles with friends around the world.

A "Battle Pass System" (a system that rewards players with various in-game items as they progress through play) will also be offered, allowing players to unlock post-launch content at a unified progression level between this title and "Call of Duty: Warzone". By simply playing the game, players will be able to acquire base weapons, customization items, and more.

Numerous free content, including new multiplayer maps and modes, seasonal events, and community celebration festivals, will be continuously added through updates after launch.

DualSense Wireless Controller for an immersive experience
When playing this title on PS5, players can experience the battle more realistically through the DualSense wireless controller.

Adaptive Trigger reproduces the weight of the trigger more realistically, while Haptic Feedback expresses the sensation of running across the battlefield through vibrations. Each of these features enhances the immersive experience of "Call of Duty: Vanguard" and puts players right in the middle of the battles that take place around the world.
