Technoloid" is a media mix project that combines animation, games, and music, produced by CyberAgent in collaboration with Avex Pictures and Elements Garden. Animation production will be handled by Animation Studio and game development by Wonder Planet, with the aim of releasing the game and broadcasting the anime in 2022.

The original idea was conceived by Noriyasu Uematsu and RUCCA of Elements Garden, who wrote the original story and produced the music for hit anime series such as "Uta no Prince Sama! LAM, a popular illustrator who was in charge of the "takt op." character design and HAL Tokyo commercial artwork, will be in charge of character drafts.

Together with lyricist RUCCA, I want to create music content for women that evokes the "dawn of a new era" centered on EDM.
How many years has it been since I came up with this idea?
This technoloid project started with consulting with Hiroyuki Tanaka, a producer at CyberAgent who is also our friend from "Dance with Devils," and finally, finally, we were able to announce the project! We are happy to announce that we are finally able to make an announcement.

We believe that the appeal of EDM music is that it is a "genre of music that can be accepted around the world," and EDM was also behind the hits of Korean artists, which are in season right now.
If we could get lyricist RUCCA, who is a magician of words, to express the story of a vocal android struggling with the "meaning of life," we thought we could create something incredibly interesting! I started to work with Daisuke Kikuta, the EDM master of Elements Garden, to make the sound.

At first, I thought I would leave it to these two to make the music for ......, but the project looked so interesting that I thought I would just keep an eye on it and let the title draft quietly, but then I asked Kikuta to write the music! I was going to keep an eye on it, but I ended up asking Kikuta to write a song for it.
The pictures, the story, and the team of technoloids created by Mr. Tanaka are all so appealing that I had to ask Kikuta to write a song for it.

Four years ago, Elements Garden, with whom I have worked on many music projects, suggested to me, "Why don't you write a story related to music from scratch? This was the beginning of my participation in "Technoloids".
I felt a lot of pressure to be entrusted with everything from the original idea to all the lyrics, but I was able to put all the "essence that only I could write" into it.

What kind of characters would be attractive if they sang the lyrics? The answer I came up with was "android. I still remember that Mr. Noriyasu Uematsu immediately agreed with me.
The appeal of this work is the story that depicts "the growth of an android's mind through singing," as well as the diverse musical compositions performed by the characters with rich personalities.
The songs are very rich in genre, as there are numerous units appearing in the production, but they have been created without any compromise, drawing on all the lyrical experience I have accumulated to date.

The "androids" never stop growing. I hope to show my own insatiable appetite for newness as a lyricist so as not to be outdone by these "androids". Please look forward to it.
