Tomoaki Maeno plays Kotaro Azuma! Netflix's "ULTRAMAN" Season 2 Teaser PV and Cast Comments Arrive!

The teaser PV for Season 2 and new cast information and comments have been released from the anime "ULTRAMAN," which has gained high popularity not only in Japan but also abroad since it was launched on Netflix in 2019.

The first teaser PV of "ULTRAMAN" Season 2 was released at "Netflix Festival Japan 2021," a special event held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 to announce Netflix's focus titles.
It was announced that a new character, Kotaro Higashi (a.k.a. "Tarou"), and Tomoaki Maeno would be joining the cast as a new member.

A video message from Tomoaki Maeno, a big fan of the Ultraman tokusatsu series and the original comics, has also arrived, in which he expresses his passionate feelings about his participation in the film.
In addition, comments were also received from the voice cast, including Ryohei Kimura as the main character Shinjiro Hayata, Takuya Eguchi as Dan Moroboshi, and Megumi Ban as Seiji Hokuto.

I am Tomoaki Maeno, the new voice of Kotaro Higashi. I think everyone loves the Ultraman series, and among them, Taro was my favorite. I vividly remember that I was very shocked by the episode of Burdon, and I can sing the theme song up to the second number. Kotaro Azuma in this production is also a bit inexperienced, but he is a passionate and pure man who you can empathize with. I am going into the recording sessions with a strong desire to fit in with the teamwork that Ryohei and the rest of the cast and crew have created, and to bring out the best of Kotaro Azuma's charm.
