Tactical RPG "Disciples Revelation" to be released on November 25, developer movie available!

Kalypso Media Japan has released a developer video for its PS5/PS4 game "Disciples Revelation," scheduled for release on November 25, 2021.

Disciples Revelations" is a tactical RPG in which the main character Avianna and her companions encounter and say goodbye to each other in the twilight world of Nevendal.
The game combines the tactical battle, which requires strategy in every action, with the dynamism of an RPG in which players select and develop their companions, and tells the story of the beginning and the end of Nevendal through Avianna's eyes.

The developers have released a video in which they discuss the importance of player "choice".

The goal was to "bring this game to a whole new generation of dark RPG fans.

The Disciples series has a great story and a long history of passionate fans.
The game's creative direction was led by Luis Lamarche of Canadian game developer Frima Studios, who also served as creative director for the game.

Since its release as a turn-based PC strategy game in 1999, this title has been a historical favorite of tactical RPG fans around the world, and "Disciples Revelations" is the fourth title in the series.

Lewis, who himself calls himself a big tactical RPG fan. He says that his goal in participating in this project was not only to pay respect to the series, but also to "bring this historical work to a whole new generation of dark RPG fans.

The main points to look out for are the "dark and profound worldview" and "encounters with unique friends. The adventurous journey of the main character Avianna, an unknown mercenary, as she seeks to liberate a new world through repeated encounters and partings, is depicted through deep RPG mechanics and turn-based combat.

Every decision the player makes affects the story and gameplay, changing the likability of the characters and the scenario. Which forces you choose to join and which forces you choose to oppose, all depends on the Avianna-Player's choices, and a very different ending awaits you at the end of each choice.

Pre-orders for the packaged version are now being accepted at game stores and online stores nationwide. The Steam version of the game, which is already available for download, will begin supporting the Japanese language on November 25.

The soundtrack CD includes the unforgettable "Main Theme," which is accompanied by a magnificent orchestra playing in the background, as well as a collection of dramatic songs that emotionally depict various scenes of the game.
