JUMP FESTA 2022, a big annual event filled with the charms of JUMP manga, will be held on December 18 (Sat.) and 19 (Sun.), 2021. This year's event will be the first ever to be held in a hybrid format of online and real venues.

Jump Festa" is a big annual event jointly sponsored by five magazines published by Shueisha: Weekly Shonen Jump, Shonen Jump+, V Jump, Jump SQ. and Saikyo Jump, where visitors can enjoy the charms of Jump Group manga. Since its inception in 1999, the event has been attended by many fans every year.

Last year, the event was held for the first time in an online format using an app to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. More participants than ever before gathered from all over the country, and were impressed by the unique virtual experience and voiced their desire to continue holding the event online.

This year's 23rd event, in response to last year's response, will be held simultaneously at Makuhari Messe, a "real venue" that has been a regular event until 2019, as well as an "online" experience through the "Janfest Island App" and e-commerce site, which has been powered up. The event will also be held simultaneously at Makuhari Messe. This will be the first ever Jump Festa that can be enjoyed both online and at a real venue, so be sure to check it out.

This year's JUMP FESTA will offer a wide variety of ways to have fun and participate from a variety of platforms.

The virtual venue "JUMP FESTA 2022 ONLINE" (a.k.a. "JUMP FESTA 2022 Island App" / Fig. A) offers various buildings and areas where visitors can enjoy the world of JUMP works, and a more powerful virtual experience than last year.

The real venue "JUMP FESTA 2022 MAKUHARI MESSE" (Figure B) will feature the "JUMP SUPER STAGE" with programs by luxury guests, the "JUMP GENGA WORLD" displaying many original drawings mainly of serialized works, "Maker Booths" with contents from sponsor makers, and "JUMP FESTA Limited and Advance Sales" where you can purchase goods. The "JUMP FESTA 2022 Official Shop" where you can purchase goods that are exclusive to JUMP FESTA or sold in advance of the event.

In addition to the official website "JUMP FESTA NAVI" (Figure C), an information application version of "JUMP FESTA NAVI Application" (same) is newly released to further introduce "JUMP FESTA" in detail. In addition to being able to apply for tickets to participate in the real event at Makuhari Messe, functions such as issuing numbered tickets for booth participation are implemented. It also offers a variety of convenient functions, such as searching for information on favorite works and registering "My Programs" to narrow down programs according to one's preferences.

The "JUMP FES STORE" (Figure D), which allows access to the EC sites of original goods and sponsor manufacturers that sell JUMP FESTA limited edition and pre-sale original goods on the "JUMP FES Island App", the official website "JUMP FESTA NAVI", and the information application "JUMP FESTA NAVI App", has also been opened. (Fig. D), which provides access to the e-commerce sites of the sponsors and manufacturers.

The "Janfes Island App" allows users to freely travel around the "Janfes Island" controlling their avatars called "characters" and enjoy every corner of the world of the works. In this release, some of the buildings, areas, and contents that can be experienced only virtually have been made public.

(1) 22 newly drawn characters that can be operated with the "Janfes Island App

The 22 characters to be controlled in the "Jangfez Island App" have been drawn by new artists from "Weekly Shonen Jump". Players can operate the characters and run around "JUNFES Island" freely. It is also possible to collect all types of characters as they play, allowing players to enjoy the world of JUMP with their favorite characters.

(2) 29 types of "coins" scattered around "JUNFES Island

A total of 29 types of coins with designs from five JUMP magazines and 22 serialized works are scattered throughout "JUMPHES ISLAND. Collecting the coins will allow you to get a new character in the "Capsule Character Tower".

(3) "Capsule Character Tower" where you can get characters by using coins

At the "Capsule Character Tower," players can use the coins they have collected to obtain new characters.

A total of 34 stages will be held over the two days. A variety of remarkable special stages are lined up, including live contents and recorded videos from Makuhari Messe, with gorgeous guests on stage.
