Akiba Research Institute is currently running a giveaway campaign in which three winners will win a Higurashi When They Cry Graduated Premium Chokonose Figure "Rika Furute".

The game was first released as a doujinshi game in 2002 and became popular for its interesting puzzle-solving and bizarre story depicting "bonds" between people. In October 2020, it was adapted into a completely new anime series, "Higurashi When They Cry," and in July 2021, the answer to the mystery, "Higurashi When They Cry Graduation," will begin airing. The shocking development surpassed that of the previous work and caused a stir on social networking sites.
