The report from the production announcement press conference of "Masked Rider Revisited" which will start airing in September!

The web trailer and poster visual were released last week on the 24th, and it was revealed that legendary riders and dark riders of the past will appear, and that Akiyoshi Nakao and Arata Furuta will appear as father and son as guest cast members, which is adding to the excitement leading up to the release of this film. There have been many speculations about the reappearance of that cast member, and there were high expectations for the appearance of "him," who will make his long-awaited appearance after crossing the 50-year gap.

It was announced that Mr. Mateito Fujioka, the son of Mr. Hiroshi Fujioka, has been chosen to play the role of Masked Rider No. 1/Takeru Hongo.

Mr. Mateito Fujioka

The film will take place in three different eras: 1971, the year of Masked Rider's birth; 2021, the present day; and 2071, 100 years after the birth of Masked Rider. In 1971, 50 years before the birth of Masked Rider, the evil secret society Shocker captured a young man, Takeshi Hongo, who was athletic and intelligent, and performed an operation to remodel him in order to create the strongest remodeled human being. Masked Rider No. 1 was born as a result. The "other" episode from the day of the surgery is depicted in this theatrical version.

Masked Rider No. 1/Takeru Hongo, who played the role of Masked Rider No. 1/Takeru Hongo 50 years ago, is played by Mateito Fujioka, the eldest son of Hiroshi Fujioka, who actually played Masked Rider No. 1/Takeru Hongo back in 1971. In the making-of and interview footage that has just arrived, the actor is seen in a blue double jacket and white pants, an outfit reminiscent of Takeshi Hongo's attire 50 years ago, as he confronts the shocker.

When he was offered the role of Masked Rider No. 1/Takeru Hongo, which his father, Hiroshi Fujioka, had played, Mr. Mateito Fujioka says that he felt it was his "destiny to do it," so he took advice from his father in person, and then reviewed the broadcasts from that time and studied them in his own way to portray Takeshi Hongo/Masked Rider No. 1. His heroic performance was so impressive that the staff on set couldn't help cheering him on. It is a point that should be watched in theaters.

In the making-of featurette, a part of the transformation scene is also shown. Expectations are high for the transformation that has been passed down directly from one generation to the next.
