Anime "Chibi Maruko-chan" will start airing on December 5 with new drawings and direction of selected "divine episodes"! The episode includes "I love you, Tama-chan" and other episodes that will make you cry!

Nippon Animation will hold "Chibimaruko-chan" from December 5, 2021 (Sunday) to January 30, 2021 (Sunday)! Your favorite 'divine times' based on Momoko Sakura's original story" will be held from December 5, 2021 (Sun.) to January 30, 2021 (Sun.).

Chibi Maruko-chan" is a heartwarming, funny, and sometimes sad story about the daily life of Maruko (Momoko Sakura), the second daughter of the Sakura family and a third grader in elementary school, and her family and friends, set in Shimizu City (now Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City), Shizuoka Prefecture. The year 2021 marks the 35th anniversary of the serialization.

To commemorate the anniversary, the "35th anniversary of the original work" will be held from February to June 2021! We are looking for your favorite "god episode"! and asked viewers to submit their favorite stories about the original "Chibi Maruko-chan" on the program's homepage. The story chosen by the most people will be presented with new artwork and direction as a "divine episode" that you want to see again.

What kind of story is the "divine episode" that everyone has chosen? This is a popular program that not only new viewers but also those who have seen the show before can enjoy it anew. In addition, the January 30, 2022 (Sunday) broadcast will be a one-hour special!

Summer vacation starts tomorrow. Maruko is walking with all her belongings from the first semester. On the way home from school, Maruko and her sister see an old man selling mysterious cards under a tree, and they can't resist the urge to buy one...

This is the first episode of the original "Chibi Maruko-chan," which was later announced as a special remake to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the birth of Chibi Maruko-chan.
Maruko is returning home with her luggage on the day before her summer vacation, and a charming magic card sold by a suspicious-looking old man. How can she get it...? Please enjoy the fun with Maruko and her friends.

Maruko asks her mother to take her to a haunted house at a department store. The request is easily rejected, but her father agrees to take her, saying that he wanted to go too. Maruko, Refusing to Wear Woolly Underpants
It's a cold winter, and we talk about woolen pants, and Tama-chan says she doesn't wear them. Maruko is secretly shocked. Maruko declares at home that she will not wear them anymore, but when she sees her mother looking sad, she decides to wear them after all. Then, when she goes to school, there is an unexpected incident...
