Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) will award the PlayStation Partner Awards 2021 Japan Asia, which recognizes hit titles from the past year, this year on December 2 (Thursday) and 3 (Friday) on PlayStation.Blog. Blog on Thursday, December 2 and Friday, December 3 this year.

The PlayStation festival, which started as "PlayStation Awards" in 1994, the year after the birth of PlayStation, will be renewed in 2020 and will be held for the 27th time this year as "PlayStation Partner Awards".

In addition, each GRAND AWARD winning title will have its original video on the official PlayStation YouTube channel.
There will be no live broadcast program this year.

PARTNER AWARD
The top three titles developed by software companies in Japan and other Asian countries in terms of worldwide sales(*1) from October 2020 to September 2021, with particularly noteworthy results. (*2)

SPECIAL AWARD
Titles are selected based on the following criteria: 1.
(*1) Titles developed by software makers in regions other than Japan and Asia, and selected based on the following criteria.
1. the title with the highest sales(*1) in Japan and Asia from October 2020 to September 2021 among titles developed by software developers in regions other than Japan and Asia.
2. the highest ranked indie game developed in Japan and other Asian countries in terms of worldwide sales(*1) from October 2020 to September 2021.
2: Highest-ranking title in worldwide sales(*1) of indie games developed in Japan and Asia from October 2020 to September 2021.
3. the title developed by a software developer in Japan or Asia that has left a particularly noteworthy achievement at the time of PlayStation 5's launch.
3. titles developed by software developers in Japan and other Asian regions that have achieved particularly noteworthy results during the PlayStation 5 launch period. (*2)
