Spider-Man, a PlayStation-exclusive hero, is now available in Marvel's Avengers!

Marvel's Avengers" now offers a new PlayStation-exclusive hero, Spider-Man.

Marvel's Avengers," available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC, features a single-player focused campaign called "Reassemble" and "Warzone" missions that take place around the world within the Avengers Initiative. Through today's update, new specifications and storylines have been added to the Avengers Initiative. Multiple campaigns, as many as nine playable heroes (10 on PlayStation), and multiplayer for up to four players.

■ New Raid "Dissonance".
Raids require late-game teamwork. Advanced tactics and the cooperation of four-person teams equipped with top-of-the-line gear are essential.
After the expansion "Battle of Wakanda," the sonic monster "Crow" attacks Vibranium Mound again. Join Black Panther and the Avengers to stop the destruction of Wakanda!

■Spider-Man and Heroes Event "With Great Power"
Legendary web-slinger Spider-Man joins the fray as a PlayStation-exclusive hero on December 1!
Play as Spider-Man in acrobatic single-player or multiplayer with friends. With his unique moves and combat abilities, Spider-Man is sure to play a major role in the Strike Team within the Avengers Initiative.

＜Synopsis.
AIM's new plan for world domination is to use its advanced technology to make the Synthoid army invincible... When Peter Parker learns of AIM's new plan, he vows to work with the Avengers to stop this threat at all costs.
While hiding his true identity, he forms a temporary friendship with Ms. Marvel and Black Widow, but Parker, who usually acts and performs alone, is at a loss to join the team and fight alongside the other members.
Will he officially join the Avengers? Or will he continue his fight against AIM alone?

*PlayStation Plus is required for online multiplayer on PS4 and PS5.

Increased power level limit and new system

If you already own "Marvel's Avengers," this update will allow you to raise the power level limit and use the new system at no additional cost.

■New "Shipments" specification implemented.
(Implementation in Japan is currently being coordinated. An announcement will be made as soon as the time is determined.)
The new "Shippings" specification is implemented in response to requests from players who want to obtain popular decorative items, resources, and other items through game play, as well as to use surplus units.

Each shipment is sold for 500 units (currency earned through gameplay), and there are approximately 250 items to choose from. This includes premium-grade costumes that appear at low probability and are not available in any other way.
These costumes do not necessarily depend on luck; they are automatically awarded after 100 shipments are acquired.

■Raising the maximum power level
The maximum power level has been raised from 150 to 175. If you want to get the best gear, take on the game's most difficult challenge, "Dissonance!

Dissonance" is a newly implemented 4-player raid, and clearing it on the highest difficulty level, "Elite," will grant you top-class gear items. It is now possible to recycle high power level gear.
This allows you to upgrade your current gear to match the power level of the consumed item (with some exceptions).
