The TV anime "Orient," which will begin airing on January 5, 2022 (Wed.) in TV Tokyo and other locations, has released its music video and OP theme information.

Orient", a manga serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, is the latest work by Shinobu Otaka, whose works such as "Magi" and "Sumomo Momomo: The Strongest Yome on Earth" have also been adapted into anime.
It has been 150 years since a "demon god" suddenly appeared in Sengoku-era Japan and seized control of the world, and only the "bushidan" (a group of samurai warriors) have stood against him. The boys, Musashi and Kojiro, pledge their dream of "forming the strongest warrior group" and take on the challenge of exterminating demons.

The TV anime's main PV has now been unveiled.
In addition to Musashi (CV. Yuma Uchida) and Kojiro Kanezaki (CV. Souma Saito) facing off against demons, the film also features Tsugumi Hattori (CV. Riyo Takahashi), a pampered samurai, Naotora Takeda (CV. Satoshi Hino), the leader of the "Takeda Bushidan" who boasts overwhelming strength, and Hideo Kozuda (CV. Wataru Hane), the leader of the "Kozuda Bushidan" who looks after Tsugumi as a daughter. <Story
The story takes place in the Warring States Period in Japan.
The "Onigami" suddenly appeared and killed all the warlords vying for supremacy, signaling the end of the world of mankind.
One hundred and fifty years later, there was a group of people who continued to fight for their freedom against the domination of the demigods.
Musashi and Kojiro, who had longed for the image of the samurai that Kojiro's father had told him about when he was a child, vowed to each other to form the "strongest bushidan".
However, in a town where people worship demons as gods, samurai are considered evil by the people.
Musashi is unable to say "I want to be a samurai" to the people around him, and Kojiro is also shunned by them as the son of a samurai.
One day, Musashi, who was conflicted about his way of life, saw a demon tearing people apart without feeling.

The opening theme is "Break out" by Da-iCE

The opening theme is "Break out" by Da-iCE. The song is full of a sense of speed reminiscent of the world of "Orient," and was unveiled for the first time in this video.

Comments from Sota Hanamura, a member of the band who produced the song, have also arrived.
Mr. Hanamura commented, "I expressed high aspirations and strength of mind with penetrating high notes, and in the lyrics, I conveyed the idea that in a world where justice is decided by majority rule, even a minority can be right and that their thoughts can change the world. By adding Japanese elements to the lyrics, I think I was able to incorporate them into a Japanese rock song that only Da-ice can produce. Da-iCE is a band that has been in the business for a long time.

Wataru Hatano, whose new song "Naniiro" was recently chosen as the ending theme, also commented.
