Production of the 5th season of "WIMUSHUME PEDAL" has been decided! Weak Mushi Pedal LIMIT BREAK" will be broadcast on NHK Sogo in October 2022!

It has been announced that the long-awaited fifth season of "Weak Pedal" will be broadcast on NHK Sogo in October 2022. A teaser visual depicting Sakamichi and Shinami facing each other has also been released.

The TV anime "Weakushi Pedal" is serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (published by Akita Shoten), with a total of over 25 million copies of the comics sold.

The first season of the TV anime aired in 2013, followed by the second season, "Weakushi Pedal GRANDE ROAD," the following year. It depicts the Sohoku High School Cycling Club, of which the main character, Sakamichi Onoda, is a member, in a fierce battle against rival schools, including Hakone Gakuen, the absolute champion, and other strong schools from across the country in the midsummer Inter-Highs, and was extremely popular. In 2015, "YAMUSUME PEDAL THE MOVIE" was released, the first original feature film based on a scenario written and illustrated by the original author, Wataru Watanabe. In 2017, "Weak Mushi Pedal NEW GENERATION," the third season of the series, aired, in which Sakamichi became a second-year student and a new team with new characters took on the challenge of the Inter-High School Championship.

The long-awaited fifth season of the TV anime "Weakmushi Pedal LIMIT BREAK" will begin airing on NHK Sogo in October 2022.

A teaser visual of the main character, Sakamichi Onoda (CV: Daiki Yamashita), and his rival, Yamasa Yamanami (CV: Tsubasa Dainaga) of Hakone Academy, facing each other has also been released. The visual depicts the two's passionate fighting spirit as they take on the Inter-High School competition.

In the 5th season of the TV anime, the Inter-High School competition will finally come to an end!　The story will depict how the fierce competition between the two teams will unfold. The Sohoku team, including Sakamichi, will support each other and unite to challenge their rival schools.
