Call of Duty: Vanguard" will debut its long-awaited season 1 on December 9! Also unveiled the new base of operations Caldera in Warzone PACIFIC!

The long-awaited season 1 of the FPS "Call of Duty: Vanguard," released in November 2021, will begin on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Information has also arrived about Caldera, the new base of operations for "Call of Duty: Warzone PACIFIC."

The legendary journey begins with Call of Duty: VANGUARD Season 1 and Call of Duty: WARZONE PACIFIC!

With an all-new map built with input from the community, WARZONE PACIFIC will usher in a new era of combat on a massive scale.
With an exclusive playlist that includes new vehicles and Vanguard weapons, the first season of "Warzone Pacific" - the beginning of a year of content based on the epic epic of destroying the Axis resistance.

VANGUARD will offer 24-hour exclusive access to Warzone Pacific's newest map, Caldera. Warzone Pacific" also allows visitors to descend upon Rebirth Island during this period.
Caldera consists of 15 vast and distinctive areas, which will be explored and fought over when "Operation Vulcan" begins. In addition, there are hundreds of relatively small key locations that can be explored and utilized to tactical advantage.

<STORY>
"Those days were simple, but the job was never done." - Captain Butcher
On August 24, 1984, deep underground in Downtown Verdansk, the elite CIA task force that took care of Stitch discovered a World War II German bunker.
Following an intruder-like voice in the underground passageway, they find a bunker filled with information from yesteryear and the familiar voice of Captain Butcher, who mocks the task force for its lack of secrecy.

Butcher, who was in charge of the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) during World War II, created several Special Operations Task Forces (S.O.T.F.), including the prototype Vanguard (S.O.T.F. 001), to completely eliminate the Axis forces that had fled after the war.
Adler, Woods, Mason, and Hudson, to hear this story, which coincided with their own mission to completely eradicate Perseus, temporarily ceased operations...
And then they learn that it all began in the Pacific Ocean.

Some of the Chaldean Areas

● Northwest Area
At the far end of the inland area is a large group of buildings: the command center, administration building, barracks, training course, and firing range, with a beach and a small radar array to the east of the armory center.
This large industrial wharf facility, operated by a marine transportation company, contains five large rusting cranes, a huge ship's hangar, a long-abandoned company building, and a shipping yard.

This area also bridges several important points in the vicinity, including a mine, a mountaintop fuel tank and phosphate container and refinery, a military base with quonset barracks near the armory, and a fishing village with bamboo houses on the side of the jungle near the runway.

● Southwest Airfield Central Area
Most aircraft takeoffs and landings take place on the runways of the airfield center and the Caldera Terminal in the southwest.

Northeast area
There is a second runway for those stationed at the landing base and armory dock facilities. Half of the area is covered by jungle, and a steep cliff climb through houses and abandoned farms leads to this coastal promontory with a dirt airstrip.
Deep in the jungle lies the military headquarters, where its secrets lie.

Center of the map
There is the huge summit of a dormant volcano that gives the island its name. The height advantage gained by landing on top of the caldera crater and the Axis gun emplacements under construction is offset by the exposed environment.
If the area becomes a "battle zone," the main gondola station from the summit to the airstrip and the rock outcrops, like those built in the magma pool and its stagnation, will provide a place to catch one's breath.

Farmland on the south side of the volcano
Of outstanding importance is the fertile farmland that stretches just south of the volcano. In addition to numerous small farms, there is a light industrial area with farm machinery and warehouses, an administrative center, water towers, and stables that serve as landmarks as one moves through the rugged and lush landscape of this area.
Numerous distant farm buildings, silos, lakes, timber harvesting operations, military outposts and communication towers, even rocky crags... these bring a large number of combat opportunities and routes leading to all of the southern zone of the caldera.

[Warzone Pacific] Launch Day One Playlist, Content, and RICOHET Anti-Cheat Driver

Besides the Caldera, where only Vanguard owners can descend on Thursday, December 9, and all players on Friday, December 10, Warzone Pacific is bursting with new content, including all Vanguard operators and weapons.

■40 Weapons:.
38 major weapons from the Vanguard launch, plus two practical weapons available for free with the Season 1 Battle Pass.
All of these can be customized with unlocked camouflage, and all ballistic-based weapons can be further customized with up to 10 attachments by the gunsmith.

■ More than 10 operators
Refers to each of the S.O.T.F. operators.
002-005 are ready to descend at any time, along with Special Operations Task Force 006, which will be introduced this season.

■ Calling cards, emblems, etc.
Let's show everyone at Warzone how much we have grown in Vanguard since launch.
Cross-progression between Vanguard and Warzone will be available at the start of the season, allowing you to rank up in season prestige and unlock new content for Battle Pass and Challenges.
In addition, a new bundle with Vanguard content will be available in both games' stores.

■ New Vehicles and Dogfights
Fly fighter jets to bomb your enemies or shoot them out of the sky with anti-aircraft guns and vehicles. Other ground vehicles include the Squad Transport Vehicle, an all-terrain vehicle that helps Squads cross and circle islands.

■Specialized loadouts for Vanguard weapons can only contain Vanguard weapons, making it easier to obtain and try out more powerful equipment.
All weapons on the island will also be Vanguard weapons, and operator selection will be limited to Vanguard soldiers.

■ Changes to circle reduction, in-game events, and other changes to the scope and duration of circle reductions will change the pace of play, especially when dogfights are taking place overhead.
Also, expect in-game events per circle reduction, air strikes, and various items rewarding Caldera's overworld and contracts.

During the season, some of the featured playlists will return to Rebirth Island for RESURGENCE and other game modes. A new limited-time mode will focus on Caldera and will feature VANGUARD PLUNDER, a unique VANGUARD RESURGENCE presented by Beenox, and other surprise events.

innovations and additions to the warzone experience

Exploring entirely new maps, winning playlists, and utilizing new weapons have led to new concepts and gameplay innovations by all studios involved in Warzone, especially Raven Software, Beenox, Toys for Bob, and High Moon Studios and some of which were adopted after listening to community feedback.

The first batch of content, scheduled around the December 9 launch (for Vanguard players) and December 10 (for all players), will include.

■ Concentration camps - Return to combat readiness
Winning in a concentration camp will no longer just give you a second chance.
In Warzone Pacific, players who are victorious in a concentration camp will return with the weapons and lethal equipment given to them in that mortal combat.

■ Loadout items and field upgrades.
Dead Silence is weakened. Stopping Power bullets are gone.
In addition to the details of those exact changes, Raven Software has carefully considered a variety of equipment, including stun grenades and weakened heart rate sensors. Loadout drop markers will now only be available at the purchase station after a loadout drop event occurs in a match, changing their usefulness from an immediate power-up to a more tactical choice in the mid to late game.

Along with these weakenings, several Lethal and Tactical equipment will receive long-awaited enhancements. Most Lethal equipment will deal more damage, snapshot grenades will have an increased area of effect, and stims will also apply a slight mobility boost.
Decoy grenades will now fire rubber bullets, dealing just enough damage to deflect enemy attention.

■Gas Masks and Canister Bombs
Gas masks do not interrupt as much action as before, and while it is now easier to put on and take off the mask, reinforce armor and reload weapons when exiting a circle contraction, it is still advantageous to stay safely inside the circle.
Once you have it in the caldera, light the fuse and throw the canister, or attach it to an ascender and send a "nice present" to someone who is lingering at high altitude. Or, since you have to hold it with both hands, simply shoot the person holding it or drop what you are holding and shoot it out of blast range, which can be effective in a momentary lull in an intense firefight.
