2022 Winter Anime "Saiyuki RELOAD -ZEROIN-" Goku's character PV and Blu-ray BOX illustrations drawn by Kazuya Minekura are all revealed!

The TV anime "Saiyuki Reload -ZEROIN-," which will begin airing on January 6, 2022 (Thursday) on TOKYO MX and other stations, has revealed Goku's character PV, Blu-ray BOX bonus illustrations, and more.

The "Saiyuki" series (written by Kazuya Minekura), which has sold more than 25 million copies, is a fantasy road movie based on "Saiyuki" and has gained popularity for more than 25 years through four TV anime adaptations, theater anime, musicals and more.
The TV animation "Saiyuki RELOAD -ZEROIN-" is an animation adaptation of a particularly popular episode "EVEN A WORM Arc".

The broadcast of this work will finally start on January 6, 2022 (Thursday), and Goku's character PV has arrived. The first volume of the Blu-ray BOX will be released in April 2022, and the second volume in June.

The Blu-ray BOX will come in a luxurious box with a double-sided illustration by Kazuya Minekura and a newly drawn jacket illustration. The illustrations for the early pre-order campaign and the special bonus package with all the volumes have been revealed.

<Story
Once upon a time, humans and monsters coexisted in the peaceful world of Taogenkyo.
However, 500 years ago, the great demon "Gyumawang" was buried by the god of war, Prince Nataku, in the barking castle of the Jersey Kingdom, and some people have planned to resurrect him through the forbidden "synthesis of chemistry and sorcery".


The "negative ripples" caused by this "synthesis" spread throughout Momoyuan-go, and suddenly the yokai lost their ego, went berserk, and began attacking humans.
Aware of the seriousness of the situation, Guan Yin Bodhisattva, through the three Buddhist deities, orders Genjo Sanzo to go west with Sun Wukong, Sa Ganjiao, Inoha Kai, and others.
The four begin their journey to stop the "Ushimao" resuscitation experiment.


During their journey, they meet a mysterious alien from the west named Hazel Grose and her follower Gato.
Sanzo and his group happen to work together with Hazel and her followers, who use a mysterious technique to revive human beings by using the souls of monsters.


But then, Sanzo the Wailing, a man with whom they have a history, sneaks up on them...
