Oizumi Amuseo has announced that its new game "Edge of Eternity" for PS4/PS5 will be released in 2022.

Edge of Eternity" is a full-fledged RPG game created by Midgar Studio, a development team with a passion for Japanese RPGs. The story takes place in Helion and centers on Darrion, a soldier, and his sister, Serene.

As the conflict with the mysterious invaders of Helion, the "Arclit," rages on, the terrifying biological weapons brought by the enemy have become a new threat, casting a black shadow over many people, not only on the battlefield...
Those who have contracted the "rotting disease," a disease that affects the body, are transformed into a hideous sight, and the people are left with no choice but to accept the situation.

One day, Darrion receives a letter from his sister with startling news. It tells him that his mother has contracted a corrosive disease.
He decides to risk his life and set out on a journey with his sister Serene to find a cure, in order to protect his loved ones and change the fate of the world.

The soundtrack is composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, who has provided music for many masterpieces. In addition to the appealing characters, storyline, and beautiful graphics, the game also puts a lot of effort into the sound aspect.

In addition, for the first time in an Amuseo initiative, voice-overs have been implemented. The game will feature a cast of splendid voice actors to deliver a more immersive RPG experience.
