Arc System Works will release the PS4 version of "KYURYU YOKUMAGAKUENKI ORIGIN OF ADVENTURE" on March 18, 2022.

Originally released on the PS2 in 2004, this adventure RPG is still very popular today for its unique worldview that combines adolescence, mythology, and the occult, and was also released for the Nintendo Switch in 2020.

This time, the graphics have been refined and the screen ratio of the dungeon has been changed from 4:3 to 16:9. In addition, the main scenario has been newly recorded and fully voiced.

The "Emotion Input System" and "AP Turn-Based Battle" systems, which are the features of this title, have been retained, and the game offers a modern-quality school juvenile that combines a school drama and an adventure adventure to uncover an ancient mystery.
Once again on PS4, players can infiltrate the school as a "treasure hunter" and embark on an adventure to search for "hidden treasures".

A game system in which the story progresses through two different parts
In "Kowloon Demon School Chronicles," you control a high school student "treasure hunter" who lives his school life in the adventure (ADV) part and adventures through ancient ruins in the role-playing (RPG) part, where the mystery of the story is revealed.

The scenario progresses in chapters, just like a TV anime, and consists of a total of 13 chapters, including confronting an enemy organization that interferes with the treasure hunt and approaching the mystery of ancient technology.

Adventure (ADV) part
The school part of the game is filled with unique characters.
The main scenario has been newly recorded and fully voiced. The famous scenes such as the "Christmas Event," which was highly praised by fans, are now fully voiced, and the cast from that time has been reunited (only some of the voice actors have been changed).
The voice can be freely switched between part-voiced and full-voiced by option.

▼Role Playing (RPG) Part
This is a dungeon RPG in which players explore ancient ruins on a 3D map and solve various riddles and gimmicks.
In dungeon battles, players fight while consuming AP (action power). AP is consumed for each move and attack, and when it is used up, the player takes a turn.
Enemies can inflict greater damage by attacking their flanks, backs, and weak points, and the "weak point strength" is also set.

A unique system unique to this work, the "Emotional Input System".
In the course of their school life, players can talk with various characters, and depending on their likability, special events may occur. In conversations with characters, players can choose from nine emotions (love, joy, fire, friendship, sadness, sorrow, cold, anger, and disregard).
This system affects various parameters such as the other party's reaction, the degree of liking, and the conditions for the occurrence of events, and can also lead to other conversations.

<Synopsis
Things beyond human knowledge left behind by a super-ancient civilization ...... were called "hidden treasures".
There were many "treasure hunters"...... who sought these miraculous "hidden treasures" in countries around the world. The main character, Habaki Kuryu, is a young hunter who has just joined the "Rosetta Association," a hunter's guild of promising treasure hunters.
As his first assignment, he was challenging the "Temple of Herakleion," which was buried under the city of Cairo in the Arab Republic of Egypt. He has just returned with one of the hidden treasures after fighting off the interference of the secret society "Relic Dawn," which is trying to monopolize the treasures, when he receives a new order.
Infiltrate Kamiyoshi-gakuen, a private school in Tokyo, Japan (......), and explore the ruins found in the basement of the school building.
Kowloon successfully infiltrates the school as a "transfer student" and discovers the entrance to the underground ruins.
He interacts with his friends, fights with the "student council" that protects the ruins, and is implicated in the activities of a secret society. The adventures of the young "treasure hunter" begin amidst a variety of speculations and mysteries.
