Aniplex Announces Acquisition of Delightworks' Game Development Business Centered on "Fate/Grand Order" as a Subsidiary

Aniplex announced that it has entered into a share transfer agreement with Delightworks to acquire all shares of a new company (name to be announced at a later date) that will take over Delightworks' game business through a corporate split.

The transaction is scheduled to be completed next spring, subject to the effective completion of the aforementioned company split, approval by the relevant authorities, and receipt of permission.

As a result, the production committee for the smartphone app game "Fate/Grand Order" will consist of Aniplex, Notes (TYPE-MOON), and the new company, and the "Fate/Grand Order" development team of Delightworks, along with other game businesses, will be transferred to the new company.
