A report on the "ONE PIECE" Jump Super Stage event held at "JUMP FESTA 2022" on December 19 (Sun.), 2021, has arrived. Costumes for the new movie "RED" were also revealed.

The "JUMP FESTA 2022" was an event filled with live postrecording and new information. During the event, the original costumes of the Straw Hat gang for the latest movie "ONE PIECE FILM RED," which will be released in August 2022, were unveiled.

This film is the fourth in the "ONE PIECE FILM" series, for which the original author, Eiichiro Oda, is the general producer.

Nine members of the Straw Hat gang cast gathered! The event was filled with live postrecording, new information, and more!
　Last year, the event was held online only to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, but this year's "Jump Festa 2022" will be held simultaneously online and at the real venue at Makuhari Messe. Although the event was held on an invitation-only basis, the venue was filled with excitement and enthusiasm!

The "ONE PIECE" Jump Super Stage, the last day of the event, featured Mayumi Tanaka as Monkey D. Luffy, Kazuya Nakai as Roronoa Zoro, Akemi Okamura as Nami, Kapphei Yamaguchi as Usopp, Hiroaki Hirata as Sanji, Ikue Otani as Tony Tony Tony Chopper, Yuriko Yamaguchi as Nico Robin, Kazuki Yao as Frankie Kazuki Yao as Frankie, Katsutoshi Houkame as Jinbeh, and nine other members of the Straw Hat crew! (Cho as Brook made a video appearance.) The event was a great success, both at the venue and via online streaming.

　In 2021, "ONE PIECE" will reach the milestone of 1,000 original episodes, 100 book issues, and 1,000 anime episodes. At the beginning of the event, the first opening song of the TV anime series, "We Are! was revived with new artwork to commemorate the 1000th episode broadcast. The opening song is reminiscent of "WANOKOKOKU. The cast of the "Straw Hat" gang appeared on stage in Japanese costumes reminiscent of the land of Warano, and the voice actors performed a stunning live recording of the original "Luffy of the Straw Hollow" to the original illustration of the original 1000th episode. The fans who gathered at the venue applauded profusely, and online was filled with comments such as "It's just too good..." and "I wish I could have been there! The voltage was at its maximum from the beginning!
The cast members of the "gang" greeted the audience while expressing their gratitude for the first audience event in almost two years. This was the first time for Takarakame, who plays Jinbeh, to participate in JUMP FESTA since he became a member of the Straw Hat gang. It's been 10 years since my first appearance in the anime...it's been a long time! I'm really happy to be able to participate like this! I'm so happy to be here!

As a special project on the Super Stage, the "Anime Staff's Choice of the 'Greatest Line that Makes You Cry' Original Scene Gashapon! The "Gashapon" corner was also held. The special project was to show the best lines in the capsule by turning the "One Piece Fruits" capsule, which is now in operation and very popular.
The following lines were chosen by Kenji Yokoyama, Animation Director, from volume 60, episode 590, Jinbei's famous lines, Keiichi Ichikawa, Chief Animation Director, from volume 85, episode 856, Sanji's famous lines, Midori Matsuda, Character Designer, from volume 50, episode 485, Zoro's famous lines, and Tatsuya Nagamine, Series Director, from volume 9, episode 81, Luffy's famous lines, etc. The audience was treated to a series of live postrecording of famous scenes, including the famous lines of Luffy from episode 485 of volume 50, chosen by character designer Midori Matsuda, and the famous lines of Zoro from episode 81 of volume 9, chosen by series director Tatsuya Nagamine. Some fans in the audience shed tears.

The "3rd ONE PIECE KNOWLEDGE KING" award ceremony was also held. The winner, "Nosuke Kaisendon," appeared on stage to receive an award from the cast members and was presented with the winner's banner and a colorful paper illustration from Eiichiro Oda.
The event moved on to the "ONE PIECE" latest information corner, where the audience applauded when a super special announcement of "ONE PIECE FILM RED," which will be released on August 6, 2022, a major content that will bring excitement to the year 2022, was shown. The cast members were also very excited because it was their first movie in a long time and the "FILM" series was produced by Eiichiro Oda, the author of the original story.

The original costumes of the Straw Hat crew were unveiled on this stage. The film is still shrouded in mystery. The cast members looked at the costumes one by one and predicted what the concept of the costumes would be and what kind of place the movie would take place. Sanji and Zoro are too cool! At the end of the event, as is customary at JUMP FESTA, a message from the original author, Eiichiro Oda, arrived and was read on his behalf by Mayumi Tanaka.
One of the comments read, "It's been a parley parley parley year, starting with the manga's 1000th episode parley, followed by the 100th volume parley, and now the anime's 1000th episode parley. The movie "RED! The mysterious girl, Shanks, and Luffy! Shanks is a character that is still a mystery to us. It's the first time Shanks has been in a movie this properly. I'll be in it!" and some commented that Shanks will appear in the movie. And "It's the 25th anniversary of the manga! It's the 25th anniversary of the manga! The people in charge are planning various things, so please enjoy it. Next year will be super hot too. Please give us your support." (excerpts from the comments). He commented that even after 25 years, "ONE PIECE" continues to gain momentum, and that there are still more exciting developments awaiting them.
