A new 60-second trailer has been released for "Detective Conan: Halloween Bride," which will be released on April 15, 2022 (Friday) in Toho theaters nationwide.

The film has been attracting attention for the appearance of Zero Furuya and his four friends who have already died in the line of duty - Matsuda Shimpei, Hagiwara Kenji, Morobushi Keikou, and Date Wataru, a.k.a. "The Police Academy Team. In this video, the five members are seen confronting a certain incident that they encountered on November 6, three years before the main film.

The film also features a scene in which Detective Sato teams up with Detective Matsuda, whom he had feelings for, to investigate the case, as well as people wearing mysterious costumes! I am pleased to be in charge of the music for the theater version of "Detective Conan: Bride of Halloween".
The pressure of being in charge of a national work loved by so many people kept me up at night, but I was able to complete the project with a lot of advice from the staff who have worked on the Detective Conan series many times. The music that was particularly difficult was the arrangement of the main theme song. In order not to betray everyone's expectations, we arranged it with the utmost respect for the original song. Mr. Ohno gave us some advice and made some revisions, and when we received the OK, we felt happy as if we had received his endorsement. I was reminded once again of the power of the main theme composed by Mr. Ohno, which allows you to instantly enter the world of Conan the moment the song is played in the movie. Tokyo's Shibuya is bustling with people during the Halloween season.
A wedding ceremony is being held at Shibuya Hikarie. There, Detective Sato of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department is dressed in a wedding dress. As Conan and the other guests look on, a gang of thugs suddenly bursts in and attacks, injuring Detective Takagi, who was trying to protect her. Takagi survives and the situation is resolved, but in Sato's eyes, he sees the image of the Grim Reaper that he had seen when Detective Matsuda, whom he had had a crush on, was killed in a series of bombings three years earlier.
At the same time, the perpetrator of the serial bombing case escaped from prison. Is this really a coincidence? Public Safety Police officer Rei Furuya (Toru Amuro) is hunting down the man who buried his colleague, Detective Matsuda, when a mysterious costumed figure appears and attaches a collar bomb to him.
Conan visits the underground shelter where Amuro is hiding to disarm the collar bomb, and he hears about an incident three years ago when he and his classmates from the now-deceased police academy encountered an unidentified costumed bomber named "Pramya" in Shibuya. Soon after, a disturbing shadow looms over Conan and his team as they proceed with their investigation.
A scramble for destiny is lit.
