The first part of the theatrical version of the original anime "Rin-Ru-Ping Drum" will be released on April 29, 2022.

The original anime "Ring Ping Drum" directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara announced the start of its 10th anniversary project in March 2021. The project is supported not only by animation fans but also by many creators.

The key visual and special trailer for the first part of the film version have been released, and it has been announced that the first part will be released on April 29, 2022 (Friday).

RE:cycle of the PENGUINDRUM" will be released next year in 2022 as a "two-part movie," including a completely new part, based on the TV series.
The key visual released this time depicts the characters standing inside the "train," which is a key element in the film, with a dim underwater depiction, a penguin floating in the sky, and an apple that appears as the "fruit of destiny" in the film. Ten years have passed since the broadcast of "Rin-Ru-Ping Drum" and it has returned as a theater version. I am happy to be reunited with the director Ikuhara, as I fondly remember the time when I first participated in his works.
The music for the movie version is full of rearrangements of songs from those days, as well as new instrumental recordings, and I was moved by the performances of 10 years ago. Blu-ray RE:BOX is released today, and the soundtrack is now available for download!

On December 22 (Wed.), 2021, "Riruping Drum Blu-ray RE:BOX [Limited Time Edition]" will be released, a Blu-ray BOX with some specifications changed from the TV series Blu-ray BOX released in 2015 at a more affordable price, containing all 24 episodes and video extras on 6 discs. The booklet is the same as that of the original broadcast in 2011. The booklet will include excerpts from Blu-ray Vol. 1-8 that were released at the time of the broadcast in 2011, and will be re-edited and enclosed.

Also, the distribution of the original soundtracks of the TV anime started today as well, with a total of eight albums of soundtracks that were originally released as bonus CDs for the Blu-ray of the TV series (8 volumes) released in 2011-2012 and are now hard to find.

Including the play accompaniment by Yukari Hashimoto, who was in charge of music, the opening theme "Noruniru (TV-size)" by Etsuko Yakushimaru's Metro Orchestra, the ending theme "DEAR FUTURE (TV-size)" by Coaltar of the deepers, the play The TV-size version of the ARB cover song by the unit TRIPLE H <Yomari Takakura (CV: Miho Arakawa), Hibari Izora (CV: Yui Watanabe), Mitsuri Utada (CV: Marie Miyake)> is also included in the package.

＜Story
This is a story about a brother and sister, a penguin who came suddenly, and the past and future of this world.
In order to save the life of their sick sister, Himari, twin brothers Kanba and Shoma of the Takakura family search for the "Pingu Drum" under the command of the mysterious penguin hat.
Ringo Oginome believes in her own destiny and continues to realize the events written in her diary.
Masako Natsume tries to obtain Tsumugi's diary in order to guide her to a new destiny.
Keiki Tabuki and Yuri Tokigome try to fulfill their goal in order to bring back their precious destiny.
They continue to pursue "Ping Drum" for the sake of their own destiny and that of their loved ones.
Ten years have passed since then.
Kanba and Shouma, who once boarded the train to change destiny, have returned for a moment from all places of destiny...
