TIGER & BUNNY 2" teaser video released! Worldwide exclusive distribution will start on April 8, 2022 (Friday)! The OP music will be performed by UNISON SQUARE GARDEN!

Today, December 24, 2021, a teaser PV of "TIGER & BUNNY 2" was released on the official YouTube channel of BN Pictures. In addition, it has been decided that part 1 (episodes 1-13) will be distributed as a Netflix series on April 8, 2022 (Friday).

The TV anime "TIGER & BUNNY," which gained popularity in 2011, depicts the activities of a unique group of "heroes" called "NEXT," who protect the peace of the city while carrying the logos of their sponsors.

In the sequel "TIGER & BUNNY 2," which is scheduled to begin airing in 2022, Seishi Nishida (series composition) and Masakazu Katsura (character design and hero design), who have worked on the TV anime and movie versions of the series, will team up again. In addition, Mitsuko Kase will be the new director, and BN Pictures (Namco Bandai Pictures) will be in charge of animation production.

The sequel "TIGER & BUNNY 2" will feature a completely new story depicting the world after "TIGER & BUNNY the Movie -The Rising-".

Today, December 24, 2021, a teaser PV of "TIGER & BUNNY 2" was released on BN Pictures official YouTube channel.

It was also decided that part 1 (episodes 1-13) will be distributed as a Netflix series on April 8, 2022 (Friday).

The opening song will be "kaleido proud fiesta" by UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, who have sung the theme song for the TV OP and two movie versions of the "TIGER & BUNNY" series.

Prior to the single release on April 13 (Wed.), a part of the song is used in the teaser PV.
The band will also perform at the "TIGER & BUNNY 2 Precious EVE" event to be held at Makuhari Messe on March 12, 2022 (Saturday), where the new song will be performed for the first time.

Tickets for the event will be available from today, December 24th at noon for those wishing to apply in advance via pre-request. The event will also be available for live viewing and paid streaming at the same time.

I thought my role was over with "harmonized finale" for "TIGER & BUNNY the Movie -The Rising-". I made that promise to myself because I believe that as a rock band, it is better to have a proper end to one's involvement in a work.
When Executive Producer Ozaki offered me the chance to work on this film, I intended to keep the promise I had made to myself in the past until I went to talk to him. However, as I listened to the background and enthusiasm that led to the production of this film, an important memory from the past came back to me.
I don't think being strong is the only way to be a hero."
I remember Mr. Ozaki telling me this and teaching me his attitude toward making things and how to maintain his beliefs.

I apologize to my past self. I have decided to break my promise.
We are UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, and we will make the opening theme for "TIGER & BUNNY 2.
