Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of Mobile Police Patlabor in Tsuchiura "TV-Geki-Pat 2+" Exhibition, Exhibition Details Announced! The original drawings and celluloid pictures of the TV version and the movie version 2, which will be exhibited for the first time, will be shown all at once.

The exhibition "TV-Geki Patlabor 2+" will be held at Tsuchiura City Civic Gallery from January 14 (Sat.) to February 13 (Sun.), 2022, in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Mobile Police Patlabor in Tsuchiura.

Commemorating the 30th anniversary of Mobile Police Patlabor, the "OVA-Geki-Patrol 1 Exhibition" toured a total of four locations, starting with Osaka Nanko ATC in August 2019, then Tokyo (Yurakucho and Ikebukuro), Nagoya, and Niigata, where it was well received and attended by many fans.

This year's exhibition, the second in the series following the "OVA-Geki Patlabor 1 Exhibition," has been redesigned to focus on the animated TV series and Mobile Police Patlabor 2 the Movie, and will feature rare original drawings, celluloid pictures, posters, and other items from that time period.

The exhibition will be held in Tsuchiura, where the Shaft Enterprise Japan Tsuchiura Research Center, where the Griffon was manufactured, is located, and visitors will be able to enjoy the exhibition while thinking back to the original works.

This exhibition features the TV series (47 episodes) broadcast on NTV from 1989 to 1990, the NEW OVA series of 16 episodes produced as AfterTV, and "Mobile Police Patlabor 2 the Movie," which was released in theaters in 1993. and "Mobile Police PATLABOR 2 the Movie" which was released in theaters in 1993.


1. Exhibition of original drawings and celluloid pictures from the time of production, which will be exhibited for the first time

2. Exhibition of new sculptures
The new sculptures created by sculptor Eiki Kawabata, a well-known figure in the Mobile Police Patlabor exhibition, will be exhibited.
Of particular note is a 1.2-meter-tall standing statue of a griffon.

3. Sale of New Goods
New booklets featuring the animated TV version and the movie version 2 will be sold in advance from this exhibition.

5. Limited AR voice guidance at the venue
Continuing from the previous Niigata exhibition, visitors can listen to AR voice guidance by Minna Tominaga (playing the role of Akira Izumino) and Yoshiko Sakakibara (playing the role of Captain Nagumo) at the exhibition site only. Cute mini-patrons Akira Noaki and Captain Nagumo will also be displayed on the screen.

In conjunction with the exhibition, a pay-per-view online talk event with voice actors Ryusuke Obayashi (playing Kiichi Goto) and Yoshiko Sakakibara (playing Shinobu Nagumo) will be held on Saturday, January 15, from 6 p.m. The MC will be announcer Naoki Yoshida of Nippon Broadcasting System, a big fan of this work.
