Characters symbolizing the year 2021, such as "HoloLive," "Uma Musume," and "Eva," were popular! Photo report of cosplayers on the 2nd day of "Comic Market 99" from the rooftop plaza with a snowy wind! 2021/12/30-31

Comic Market 99, the world's largest coterie magazine exhibition, was held on December 30-31, 2021.

It was the first time in about two years that Comic Market was held. In this issue, we will introduce photos mainly of cosplayers we saw at the rooftop exhibition hall on the second day.

On New Year's Eve, the cosplay plaza turned from the sunny weather of the previous day to a biting cold day. In the afternoon, a snowy wind began to blow, making the environment quite harsh for the cosplayers, many of whom were wearing light clothing. I was really impressed by the people who responded to the photo shoot while shivering.
As for the genres, "Uma Musume" and "hololive" were strong, and there was a considerable shift in power from the last Comiket two years ago. Perhaps due to the effect of the "Neon Genesis Evangelion" series being completed, there was also a lot of cosplay of the "Neon Genesis Evangelion" series. Tashata, who I had the pleasure of photographing this time, was dressed as a Don Gitsune from "Donbei," a well-known New Year's Eve soba (buckwheat noodle) dish. It was a choice that could only be made on New Year's Eve.
Let's take a look at some of the cosplayers we saw at the event.
