The first episode of the TV anime "Shikkaku Mon no Saikyou Sage - The World's Strongest Sage Reincarnated to Become Even Stronger", which will start airing on January 8 (Sat), has released a synopsis and advance scene cuts.

This TV anime is based on the GA novel series "Shikkaku Mon no Saikyou Sage" by author Progressive Islands and illustrator Kazahana Kazahana, which has sold over 5 million copies. Gaius, a wise man who was claimed to be the world's strongest magic user, is reincarnated and obtains a desired "crest," but in his time it was called a "disqualification crest. ......
The director is Noriaki Akitani ("Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion" and others), and J.C. STAFF is in charge of production.

Episode 1 "The Strongest Sage Appears.
Matthias, a 12-year-old boy from a noble family, goes to the entrance examination of a school in the royal capital to learn magic.
He easily fights off the monsters that attack him on the way, and demonstrates his unorthodox magic for Rurii and Alma, who have also come to take the exam. In the final exam, he shows his overwhelming power.
