The TV animation series "A Hero's Party Was Expelled Unless He Was a True Companion, So He Decided to Live a Slow Life in the Outlying Areas," which reached its final episode in December, is now available on Netflix and other distribution sites.

The story is about Red, a hero who is kicked out of the heroes' party for not being a true comrade, and decides to live a slow life on the frontier (original story by Zappon/illustration by Yasumo), a slow life fantasy in which he opens a herb shop with Rit, a tomboy princess. It was ranked No. 1 in the 2018 High Fantasy section's pro-established annual ranking.
In the TV anime, Red is played by Suzuki Yosirozu and Rit by Takao Kanon.

Red is forced out of the heroic party by his fellow wise men who call him out of the war.
