Ramen restaurant "Ramen Taisen Kanda" has been in business since Wednesday, January 5. It is located near the south exit of Kanda Station on the JR Chuo Line, along Kanda Fureai Dori. Ramen Taisen is a popular ramen restaurant in Osaka, and the newly opened Kanda branch is its first in the Kanto region.
The ramen offered at this store include "Kansai Dashi Shoyu Ramen Pistol," made with chicken stock and scallops from Nagoya Cochin; "Shoyu Ramen Rusty Sword," a soupless version of Kansai Dashi Shoyu Ramen; "Dai-Oshio Shoyu Ramen Heiwa," a combination of soy sauce made first thing in the morning and Nagoya Cochin soup; and "Ramen Taisenso," made with dried sardines and filtered water. The "Kogyo Shoyu Shoyu Ramen Jiyu (limited quantity)," which uses filtered water to extract more flavor from the broth. The ramen is also available with a choice of 1 to 5 pieces of chashu pork toppings at no extra charge. In addition, customers can order one free half ball of homemade noodles.
