Spring Anime "The Rise of the Shield Brave Men" Web Radio by Asami Seto & Rina Hidaka is back! Commemorative live broadcast will be held on January 16 (Sun.)

The official web radio program of the TV anime "The Rise of the Shield Brave", which will air in Season 2 in April 2022, will be revived. A live broadcast will be held to commemorate the event.

The "Rise of the Shield Hero" is a popular light novel by Aneko Yusagi, which was first published on the novel submission site "Shosetsu-kaerou" (Novelist) and later published in book form by MF Books. It is a fantasy about an otaku college student, Iwatani Naofumi, who was summoned to another world as a hero but lost his money and position.

Before the broadcast of Season 2, the official web radio of this work, "Raftalia and Filo, who want to deliver radio normally," which was distributed on the Internet radio station "Onsen" and received a good reputation, will be resurrected.

To commemorate the revival, a new radio show titled "Raftalia and Firo - I Want to Deliver a Normal Radio - 'The Rise of the Hero of the Shield'" will be held on January 16, 2012! ～a live radio broadcast (audio only) will be held on the "KADOKAWA Anime Channel" from 9:00 p.m. on January 16 (Sunday). ＜An archived broadcast will also be available on "Onsen" from 19:00 on January 17 (Mon.), the following day.

The radio personalities are Masami Seto, who plays the role of Raftalia, and Rina Hidaka, who plays the role of Firo. The two will be sharing their fascination with the work, so don't miss it!

＜Introduction
The popular novel "The Rise of the Shield's Hero", with a PV exceeding 300 million on the novel submission site "Shosetsu-kaerou" and currently in its 19th volume published by MF Books, has finally been adapted into a TV anime!
Naofumi Iwatani, an ordinary otaku college student, is summoned to another world by a book he encounters in the library.
His mission is to become one of the Four Sacred Heroes of the Shield, a group of heroes clad in swords, spears, bows, and shields, and to rid the world of the "wave" of evil that brings chaos to the world.
With his heart filled with excitement for the great adventure, Shobun set out on his journey with his friends.
However, a few days after his departure, he is betrayed and loses all his money and position.
Unable to trust others, Shobun uses a slave girl, Raftalia, to fight against the waves and the world.
