Long-awaited Blu-ray box set of "Midori no Makibao! Remastered version with 61 episodes to be released in July 2022!

Midorino no Makibao," a unique horse racing anime with laughter and tears that aired from 1996 to 1997, will be released as a Blu-ray BOX.

This is the first Blu-ray BOX release of "Midori no Makibao" at an anniversary price to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the TV anime!
The remastered video by negative scanning will be presented in a compact set of 61 episodes and 3 discs.
The ED and some of the feature cuts are up-converted.

<Story
Midori Makibao, born at the Midori Farm, is a small, white-haired thoroughbred with a curious appearance that could easily be mistaken for a dog. His talent was discovered by Masatora Iitomi, who is known as a devilish trainer, andhe debuted as a racehorse. Makibao then began to compete in a number of major races, aiming to win against the genius thoroughbred, Cascade.
Makibao repeatedly engages in fierce, hand-to-hand combat with his rivals, who are all competing against each other in a friendly rivalry. Through these efforts, Makibaogradually closes the gap with hisgreatestrival Cascade, whohas been watching his back from afar, and grows into a first-rate racehorse.
