The TV anime "Shinkage no Kyojin" is based on the manga of the same title serialized in "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine" by Hajime Isayama, which has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide. The first season aired in 2013, Season 2 in 2017, Season 3 in 2018, and Season 3 Part 2 in 2019.
The Final Season Part 2 of "Shinkage no Kyojin" will begin airing on NHK Sogo on Sunday, January 9, 2022. MAPPA is in charge of production.

SiM's "The Rumbling," the opening theme song for "The Final Season Part 2" of "Shinketsu no Kyojin" which started airing on NHK Sogo at 24:05 on January 9 (Sun.), has surpassed 10 million streaming views worldwide in just 7 days since its distribution started on January 10 (Mon.). It was also revealed that the non-credit opening theme song of the anime

In addition, the non-credit opening video for the anime has already received an astounding 18 million views on YouTube since the second episode aired this season.

The song has been in the top 10 of the Apple Music Rock genre in 20 countries, reaching #1 in Cameroon and Grenada, and in the top 30 in the U.S., Mexico, France, and other countries, joining a list of renowned artists. It also reached No. 1 in the iTunes Store Rock genre in 13 countries, including the UK, and was in the top 10 in 28 countries, as well as the top 10 in the overall chart in 6 countries, including Chile and Singapore.

The anime has only aired two episodes so far. Expectations are high for how much the number of views will increase in the future.
