DEATH STRANDING" was released in September 2021 as a DIRECTOR'S CUT version for PS5. People and cities are divided by the mysterious phenomenon of "Death Stranding," and humanity, having lost its connection, is threatened with extinction. The main character, Sam, is a courier who uses various items and vehicles to transport relief supplies to shelters and connect the North American continent.

The "DEATH STRANDING" special broadcast on NHK's game education program "Game Genome" in 2021 will be aired in an extended 55-minute version on Monday, January 24, at 0:35 am.


The MC will be Tsubasa Honda, an actor known as one of the best gamers in the entertainment industry. In addition, Hoshino Minamoto, who loves the game, and Kojima Hideo, the game creator who developed the game, will appear as special guests to convey their unique perspectives on the game genome.
