35 years have passed since the birth of the legendary hidden command! The 35th anniversary of "↑↑↓↓←→←→BA" limited collaboration cafe will be held from 1/21 (Fri.) to 30 (Sun.) in Akihabara!

The limited-time collaboration café "↑↑↓↓←→←→BA 35th×PlayPee Collaboration Café" will open from January 21 (Fri.) to January 30 (Sun.), 2022 at "Creative Space cafe Atelier × Playful Mind Cafe" in Akihabara, Tokyo.

The hidden command "↑↑↓↓←→←→BA" is a hidden command widely known to non-game fans and was first introduced in the FC version of "Gradius" released on April 25, 1986.
In "Gradius," entering this command powers up your machine to nearly its most powerful equipment.
This long but easy-to-remember hidden command has been used as a hidden command in many games since "Gradius".

To commemorate the 35th anniversary of "↑↑↓↓←→←→BA" in April 2021, a limited-time collaboration café "↑↑↓↓←→←→BA 35th x Play-P Collaboration Café" will be held from Friday, January 21 to Sunday, January 30, 2022 at "Creative Space Cafe Atelier x The cafe will be open from January 21 (Fri.) to January 30 (Sun.), 2022, in Akihabara, Tokyo.

Inside the collaboration café, visitors can enjoy collaboration drinks such as "Gradius" and "Gambare Goemon" and purchase "↑↑↓↓←→←→BA" 35th goods designed by Playful Mind Company's popular original SD design series "Play-P" and "Retopopu". The collaboration goods will also be available at Playful Mind Company's mail order site "Karutassu" and Tokyo Character Street Wagon in Tokyo Station Ichibangai.
