Winter Anime "Heike Monogatari" Episode 3 Synopsis & Advance Cuts Revealed! The talented cast includes Aoi Yuuki, Takahiro Sakurai, and Saori Hayami!

The TV anime "Heike Monogatari," currently airing on Fuji Television's "+Ultra" and other channels and distributed through FOD, has released a synopsis and advance scene cuts from the third episode "Shikagatani no kakusa" (The Plot of Shikagatani).

The story features the original character "Biwa" (CV. Yuuki Aoi) as the narrator, Biwa-houshi. The story centers on Biwa's interaction with the Heike family, including Shigemori (CV: Takahiro Sakurai), the eldest son of Taira no Kiyomori, and his sister Tokuko (CV: Saori Hayami), and depicts people who lived hard despite being at the mercy of the times.

The synopsis and advance cuts of the third episode, which will air on January 26th (Wed.), have been released.

The synopsis and advance cuts are as follows.
Episode 3 "Shikagatani Conspiracy
Biwa goes to Itsukushima Shrine with Koremori, Shisamori, Kiyotune and others. The group offers a dance to pray at Itsukushima Shrine for Tokuko, who has been in the shrine for six years but shows no sign of bearing a child.
Meanwhile, Shigemori is troubled by the quarrel between the Fujiwara clan and Enryaku-ji Temple, and by Emperor Go-Shirakawa, who is annoyed by this quarrel. Behind the scenes, a secret plan to avenge the Heike clan with the help of the Minamoto clan is about to be discussed.
