New Video! Rainbow Six Extraction" launches today and is now available on Xbox Game Pass!

Rainbow Six Extraction, the latest installment in the popular FPS "Rainbow Six" series, is finally available today. It is also playable on the subscription service Xbox Game Pass.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, "Rainbow Six Extraction" is a tactical PvE shooter with co-op for up to three players. Players will take on the unknown alien threat of the Archieen, using the popular operators from the "Rainbow Six" series. Explore blockade zones in four U.S. cities where aliens have formed a unique ecosystem that continues to evolve.

Each of the 18 operators in the "Rainbow Six" series has their own gear, weapons, gadgets, and abilities that grow with their level. Each time they break in, they can choose to continue in search of further rewards or escape. If an operator fails to escape, he or she becomes Missing in Action (MIA) and cannot be used for a certain period of time.

The standard edition (6,600 yen including tax) offers free post-launch content, a gear and ability progression system, four difficulty levels, over 90 weapons and gadgets, 12 maps, 13 mission types, and a confrontation with an unknown mutant. A host of further free content will be available after launch. The Deluxe Edition (7,920 yen including tax) includes the contents of the standard edition plus three bonus packs.

The "Buddy Pass" program will be available after the release date. The "Buddy Pass" program allows users to invite two friends for free and play cooperatively for up to 14 days.

Upgrade from PlayStation4 version to PlayStation5 version
Owners of the PlayStation4 version of "Rainbow Six Extraction" (packaged and digital versions) can upgrade to the PS5 version for 100 yen (tax included).
To play the upgraded PS5 digital version of "Rainbow Six Extraction" on PS5, the PS4 disc of "Rainbow Six Extraction" that you purchased must be in your PS5.
You must have a PS5 to upgrade from the disc version; upgrades are not available for the PS5 Digital Edition. Digital Editions are available as both PS4 downloadable and PS5 downloadable versions. You will also need to register for PlayStation Network, have sufficient storage space, and a high-speed Internet connection and its connection fee.

Upgrading from the Xbox One version to the Xbox Series X
Rainbow Six Extraction is Smart Delivery compatible. Once you purchase the game, you can play both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions of "Rainbow Six Extraction" on either console.
