Anime Writers' Choice: Fall 2021 Anime Summary Review! Five new anime including "Jahee-sama wa Kujikunai!" White Sand Aquatope" and 5 more! Anime Column

Picking up a work related to work from the TV anime series that was completed in December 2021! The monthly serialization of "Gekkan Gangan JOKER", "Jahee-sama wa Kujikakeru! which is serialized in "Monthly GANGAN JOKER", "Senpai ga uzai junpai no hanashi no hanashi" whose comics are currently published by Ichijinsha, "Shiroi no sand no aquatope", a work anime by P.A.WORKS, "Sekai supreme assassin, is reborn as a different world noble" featuring an assassin, and "Kimi to fit boxing Fit Boxing Animation" based on a popular game based on the popular video game "Kimi to Fit Boxing Animation".

Jahee-sama will not be discouraged!

In this comedy, Master Jahi, who reigned as the No. 2 power in the demon world, falls into the human world and strives to collect demon stones and work part-time for the reconstruction of the demon world. The apartment in which Master Jahi lives is a four-and-a-half-mat room with no bath, and is filled with nostalgic elements. The film is full of nostalgic gags such as fighting with the landlord over rent arrears, being questioned by the police, falling into a manhole that has been left open, professional wrestling and a cooking corner after the ending, and a UFO falling from the sky, all at such a high tempo that you lose track of when to stop. I couldn't find the right moment to stop.
The fact that none of the characters are truly evil is also a favorable impression. The final act of the episode, in which the people of the shopping arcade cheer on the mikoshi-carrying Jahi-sama, makes it seem as if the restoration of the demon world has been accomplished in the human world. The anime ends with fireworks at a summer festival, but it is a refreshing finale that makes one feel that the story of "Jahee-sama" will go on forever.

The story of a junior who is annoyed by his seniors

This office romantic comedy depicts the interaction between the main character Futaba Igarashi, in her second year with the company, and her slightly annoying but dependable senior, Harumi Takeda. Although scenes of sales and presentations are shown in the film, there are no specific descriptions of work, and the viewer's interest turns to the relationship between the characters.
In the first episode, Futaba makes a drunken confession of love to Takeda, but Takeda does not even consider her as an object of romantic interest. Futaba, who is so small that she could be mistaken for a child, is shorter than Takeda, who sits on a chair, and the hopeless height difference between them indicates the distance that cannot be shortened. However, the season has come full circle, and we come to the end of the last episode. This time, Takeda makes an unexpected comment that surprises Futaba. It may be because the situation of a gentle slope brought them slightly closer to each other in height.

Aquatope of white sand

This original 24-episode title by P.A. WORKS is a coming-of-age ensemble drama about the people who work at an aquarium in Okinawa Prefecture. The viewer is intrigued by the behind-the-scenes aspects of the work place that are not usually seen, such as exhibition projects that introduce the ecology as well as the breeding of penguins and other sea creatures, and a mobile aquarium at a hospital. The vivid use of blue as a base color, the hair of the main character, Kukuru Umisakino, her aquarium uniform, and the clear Okinawan sea and sky are beautiful.
The story takes an unexpected turn, as one might expect the main focus to be the restructuring of the management of the "Gamagama Aquarium," run by Kukuru's grandfather. The story is one that could only be told in a two-cour film, as the scope of work and human relationships gradually expand, and things that were previously invisible gradually come into view.

The world's best assassin reincarnates as an aristocrat in another world!

Based on an otherworldly fantasy novel published by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko. An assassin is reborn in a world of swords and magic, and trains hard from childhood to carry out his mission to eliminate the heroes.
In most otherworldly reincarnation anime, the previous life of the protagonist is not worth mentioning, and if the story is bad, the protagonist dies within a few minutes, but this work uses an entire episode to carefully depict the last work before death and the manner of death. The scene in which the aging protagonist explains to his new partner how to be an assassin, coupled with the dandy performance of Junpei Morita, makes you want to see the old man assassin in action without having to be reincarnated. In the final episode, the protagonist, who is still an assassin even in his reincarnated world, unexpectedly defeats a formidable opponent whom he would never be able to defeat in a serious fight. In the recollection scene that reveals his trick, he goes back to images from his previous life, which is probably because his life before reincarnation was not in vain.

Fit Boxing with Kimi Fit Boxing Animation

A short comedy based on the "Fit Boxing" exercise game series for Nintendo Switch. The casting of well-known voice actors as instructors was also a topic of conversation, and the game has sold more than 2 million copies worldwide.
The animated version of the series explores the personalities and backbones of the characters, which cannot be seen just by playing the original game, and all the members are edgy and quirky. From Karen, a newcomer who becomes an instructor due to a clerical error when she tries to take a trial lesson, to Hiro, a handsome man who dazzles others with the sparkle of his teeth whenever he smiles, to the ultra-celebrity Sophie, who comes to work in a private helicopter, we are surprised by their unknown sides.
While the overall style is surreal and aggressive, there are also serious episodes where she confides her problems as an instructor. When cheerleader Janice, played by Rie Kugimiya, says sadly, "Some of the students stop coming ......," I felt guilty for buying the game but skipping it for a long time.
