Dying Light 2 Stay Human," to be released on February 4, introduces the game's early areas and systems, including "parkour" to run through the city!
Spike Chunsoft has released new information about "Dying Light 2 Stay Human" for PS4/PS5, scheduled for release on February 4, regarding areas, character growth, and parameters to be visited in the early stages of the game.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human" is a story-driven open-world action RPG set in a zombie-infested apocalyptic world. In a world of lost civilizations and the present day underworld, the player, as a survivor, arrives at the "City," the last stronghold of humanity in the fight against the virus.

< Old Villedot
Old Villedot" is the first area that the main character, Aiden, enters when he arrives in "The City," the city where the game takes place, and is the main stage in the early stages of the game.
It is the main setting in the early stages of the game. The streets are old-fashioned and quaint, with many relatively low-rise buildings of two to three stories. It is home to the "Bazaar," the base for survivors, a subway station that serves as a frontline base for peacekeepers, and the "Old Villedot Windmill," a huge wind turbine that can transmit electricity to most parts of the district.
< The Central Loop.
The Central Loop is located south of the Old Villedot. It is a business district lined with modern buildings and has a very different atmosphere from that of Old Villedot.
In particular, the area used to be the center of business, and there are several high-rise buildings that were once occupied by many large corporations. Facing the sea, a canal runs through the district, and a huge container ship, used as the headquarters of Peacekeepers, is docked at the wharf.
<Water tower and substation
The city has a "water tower" and an "electric substation" as facilities that support the daily lives of the citizens. These facilities are shut down, but players can choose whether to assign them to survivors or peacekeepers by securing them and putting them into operation.
The force that is assigned the critical facility will control the area around it, which will not only change the subsequent narrative, but also the structures that will be installed at each location. When key facilities are assigned to survivors, ziplines and other structures (parkour helpers) will be installed throughout the area to help them move around more easily. When facilities are assigned to Peacekeepers, various traps and other structures that can be used for combat will be installed.
■New elements related to character growth and parameters
Two skill levels, "combat" and "parkour," are provided in this title. The "Combat" level is for defeating enemies, while the "Parkour" level is for climbing walls, jumping, sliding, etc. Each of these skill levels allows the player to gain experience by performing the corresponding action.
As skill levels increase, new skills can be learned from the respective skill trees for combat and parkour. Since actions and growth are linked, a player who advances while using parkour and avoiding enemies will develop his character differently from a player who actively engages in combat.
In the parkour skill tree, players can learn wall-running and sliding. This allows the player to run around the city more speedily and stylishly.
The combat skill tree includes power attacks and various kicks, as well as evasion, blocking, and stealth attacks. The dropkick, which was used in the previous game, is also still available.
< Inhibitor" to increase basic abilities
Inhibitors" are chemicals that enhance a person's physical abilities. Each time three inhibitors are collected, the upper limit of either life or stamina is increased.
In addition to skill level, having a certain amount of life or stamina is a prerequisite for acquiring powerful combat and parkour skills, so acquiring inhibitors is an important element for smooth game progression.
<Immunity>, a new element that makes the game more immersive.
In addition to Life and Stamina, there is a new parameter called "Immunity" in this game. Immunity represents resistance to THV (Haran virus) and decreases in dark places where THV is active, such as inside facilities and at night. The game is over when immunity is reduced to zero, so care must be taken when operating at night or in the dark.
In addition, if you use inhibitors to strengthen your life and stamina, your immunity will also increase at the same time. This will allow you to stay in the dark for a longer period of time.
