Yuki Kaji and Daiki Yamashita become good friends and brothers! They appear in the anime "Health Insurance Theatre 'Ken to Hoho'"! Cast Interviews Released!

The Federation of Health Insurance Associations of Japan will release an original anime "Kenko Hoken Gekijo 'Ken to Tamotsu'" featuring voice actors Yuki Kaji and Taiki Yamashita on February 2. Interviews with the cast have also arrived.

The original anime "Kenko Hoken Gekijo 'Ken to Tamotsu'" will be released on Twitter by the Federation of Health Insurance Associations in a total of eight episodes. The first episode, "Health Insurance," will be released on February 2 (Wed.), followed by one episode each week.

The brothers are Ken, voiced by Hiroki Kaji, and Tamotsu, voiced by Daiki Yamashita. This video captures a moment from the brothers' daily lives. Ken, who is a firm man and an expert on health insurance, is strict but kind to Tamotsu, who is always optimistic and takes his own pace, and teaches him about the health insurance system and knowledge about health insurance.

How was it playing the characters?
［Mr. Kaji]
I felt that he was a character on the edge, mixing "enthusiasm for health insurance" and "doting on his brother" (laugh).
(laughs) I played the role while being conscious of conveying his sincerity and madness in a comical way.

［Yamashita-san.]
He is a college boy who goes at his own pace, but he is a good observer of others, especially his older brother, and is able to sense something immediately and say something sharp and subtle to him. He is a boy who can easily sense something and say something sharp to his brother in particular. I was conscious of this balance in my performance so that the humor would come out!

This anime is about Tamotsu learning about health insurance.
［Kaji.]
I want to be able to speak English. I have always enjoyed traveling abroad, but I think it will make my life at the destination much easier and more enjoyable. Someday I would like to speak with local people in their own language as much as I want.

［Yamashita.]
I am already over 30 years old, so I think I need to take care of my health in various ways. I need to go for a physical checkup!

■It is the season when it is easy to get sick due to the cold and dry weather, but is there anything you take care of for your health as a voice actor?
［Mr. Kaji]
Thoroughly wash your hands and gargle. It is a matter of course, but the first thing is to reduce the risk of getting sick. I think it is very important to take care of and prevent illness on a daily basis. In addition, I also gargle my nose every day. And...above all, the natural enemy of the throat is dryness! A humidifier is a must for voice actors in winter.

［Yamashita-san.]
I feel like I have to be especially careful about dryness in winter! I take care to humidify my room and wear a mask when I sleep! If I make a one-pot dish, I can eat some vegetables, so I save vegetables for winter!

Episode 1 Synopsis:
In the first episode, Ken, the older brother, finds a compress on his younger brother Tamotsu's arm. When Ken asks why, Tamotsu confesses that he fell on his bicycle but did not go to the hospital because of the cost.
Ken persuades Tamotsu to go to the hospital by telling him that he can receive treatment at 30% of the cost, the type of health insurance he has, and that he can receive treatment as Ken's dependent.

What is the Federation of Health Insurance Associations?
As a federation of health insurance associations (kenko hoken kumiai) established by companies with employees (insured persons) above a certain size, the Federation of Health Insurance Associations (kenko hoken renmei) supports the activities of each health insurance association and works to enhance and strengthen the insurer's functions.
