KADOKAWA to release "Overlord" and other anime films for free on February 5! KADOKAWA Anime Film Festival" on YouTube, comments from cast members including Satoshi Hino

KADOKAWA Anime Channel, KADOKAWA's official anime channel, will hold the "KADOKAWA Anime Film Festival," a special program to release popular anime films for free for one week only, from February 5, 2022.

The YouTube channel "KADOKAWA Anime Channel" has been showing the latest videos of numerous anime works released by KADOKAWA. To commemorate its 2 million registered users, two "Overlord the Movie" films, "Strike Witches the Movie" and "Date A Live: Manyuri Judgment" will be premiered on the channel.

In addition, congratulatory comments have arrived from Satoshi Hino, Yumi Hara, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Marina Inoue, Misato Fukuen, and Mai Narumi, who are cast in each film. They express their passion for the work and the highlights of the show.

At the time, I was very excited about the recording of the movie version, thinking it would take until late at night, but it went very smoothly and we were done by the evening.
I think it was a work full of "Date A Live" elements that fans of the original work would definitely enjoy, while also enjoying the original characters for the theater version.
