Wonder Festival 2022 [Winter], one of the world's largest figurative arts and figures festivals, was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture on Sunday, February 6, 2022.
Among all the hobby lovers who gather at Wonder Festival, the star of the show is the work of general dealers who distribute garage kits that they have created themselves. The Wonder Festival uses a same-day copyright system, which allows dealers to sell garage kits of any genre, including anime, games, and special effects, with the prior approval of the manufacturer. This year's show will feature works modeled after female characters from general dealers.
Although this was the first real onefest held in about two years, the trends in the production genre have changed considerably. The biggest new star in the bishojo genre was "Uma Musume Pretty Derby," with Rice Shower and Mihono Bourbon being particularly popular.
