Crusher Joe" is based on a popular novel written by Takachiho Haruka and directed by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, who is known for designing characters for "Mobile Suit Gundam" and also illustrating the original story. This is a poignant space opera, in which Yasuhiko took on the five roles of character designer, screenwriter, storyboard artist, and animation director. At the time of the film's release, it was also the talk of the town that many manga artists, including Katsuhiro Otomo, Rumiko Takahashi, and Akira Toriyama, had guest-designed characters in the film. This time, the HD remastered version will be broadcast, so don't forget to check it out.

Near future. In the near future, humans have developed a warp engine that transcends time and space, and have flourished throughout the universe, giving birth to many solar system nations in the galaxy. In the universe, specialists called "Crushers" are active, taking on all the dangers necessary for human life.
A strange request comes to Jyou, a skilled crusher who runs the galaxy. It is the urgent transportation of his daughter Elena, who is suffering from a serious illness. Jou and his team accepts the request, but while at warp, the team's beloved Minerva suddenly loses control, and by the time they realize it, both the client and the cargo have vanished. Jou and his team are in a state of panic when the Allied Space Forces show up, accuse them of being pirates, and suspend them for six months. Then information about the mastermind behind the incident, "Murphy Pirates," is brought to their attention.
Anyone who underestimates Crusher will be punished! In order to bring the case to an end, Jyou sets out for the outlawed nation of Lagor!
