The smartphone game "Higurashi When They Cry Mei" will collaborate with Key's masterpiece "Kanon".

Higurashi When They Cry Life" is a game app based on the TV anime "Higurashi When They Cry Industry" and "Higurashi When They Cry Graduates". A new story is developed with the cooperation of Ryuun Knight 07.

From February 10, 2022 (Thursday), a collaboration with "Kanon," the pioneer of the "crying game" genre, whose debut title was released by Key for the PC in 1999, will be held!

The collaboration visual depicts Hanyu from the "Higurashi" series and Ayu Tsukimiya from "Kanon". An announcement PV has also been released.

＜What is "Kanon"?
A romance adventure game released for PC in 1999 as the debut title by Key, a brand of Visual Arts, Inc. The story is based on the theme of miracles spun through encounters and deepened interactions.

It is said to have been one of the first games to incorporate elements such as "crying" and "emotion" into games, and is said to have pioneered the so-called "crying game" genre.

The Dreamcast version was released in 2000, followed by the PS2 version in 2002 and the PSP version in 2007.
