Gran Turismo 7" for PS5/PS4 to be released on March 4; information on player data transfer from "Gran Turismo SPORT" released!

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announced that Gran Turismo 7 for PS5/PS4, scheduled for release on March 4, 2022, will transfer some data from Gran Turismo SPORT software for PS4 at launch.

It has been announced that Gran Turismo 7 for PS5/PS4, scheduled for release on March 4, 2022, will transfer some data from the Gran Turismo SPORT software for PS4 in conjunction with its launch.

This will allow players to start playing Gran Turismo 7 with some of their status and data transferred over.

The player data that will be transferred over includes Driver Ratings (DR), Sportsmanship Ratings (SR), Car, Helmet, and Suit recoveries, decals, and other content.
(Note that Scapes Photo, Race Photo, and Replay content are not eligible for transfer.)

The transfer will take place automatically on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Ratings, reveries, and decals will all be transferred as they are from Tuesday the 15th, but the start may be earlier or later. Reverie and decals will also be taken over at any time after the 15th. (It may take some time for the transfer to take place.)
