Wonder Festival 2022 [Winter], one of the world's largest figurative arts and figures festivals, was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture on Sunday, February 6, 2022.

The festival was held with the number of visitors limited to 20,000 or less due to the priority measures to prevent the spread of the disease in Chiba Prefecture, where the event was held on that day. This was the first time in two years that the event was held at a real venue.

The weather was a bit chilly with light overcast, but the outdoor area was open for photographing. Although the cosplay area was less crowded than in previous years, people were taking pictures while rejoicing in the fact that the festival had been successfully held.

As for changes in genre, the PC game "Genshin Impact" became a bit more prominent. Cosplay of Anno's works such as "Shin Evangelion the Movie" and "Shin Godzilla" were also seen. Mokoroso's Shin Godzilla was an anthropomorphic cosplay, and the fins on its back were well done.
