A new time slip bath comedy by Kenjiro Tsuda and Mari Yamazaki, the original writer.

Thermae Romae Novae" will be distributed exclusively worldwide on Netflix from March 28, 2022 (Monday). In this film, Lucius, a young man who is struggling to grow as a bathhouse technician in the Roman Empire, is somehow able to travel back in time between "ancient Rome" and "modern Japan. He incorporates Japanese bathing culture into the design of his country's Thermae, an outlandish "bath comedy.

Mari Yamazaki, the author of the original story, participated in the series composition, and two newly written original episodes that do not exist in the original story were added to the series, making it a "novae (new).

The main character Lucius is played by Kenjiro Tsuda, aka "Tsudaken," who is active as a voice actor, actor, narrator, and in many other fields. The trailer, key visuals, and scene photos of the film have been unveiled.

<Story.
The Roman Empire was a great power that boasted unprecedented prosperity. For the Romans, who supported the prosperity of this country, the Thermae, or bathhouses, were an indispensable part of their lives. Lucius, who had a grandfather and father who were bathhouse engineers, eventually became a bathhouse engineer himself. However, he was in a tight spot as a bathroom engineer when he was fired from his office for having outdated design ideas.
One day, he is almost sucked into a large drainage ditch in a public bathhouse, and while being swept away by the rushing water, he arrives at ...... a public bathhouse in modern Japan! Unaware that he had time-traveled, Lucius was impressed by the public bath culture, including the painted murals and fruit milk.
