Collaboration between "Hi-Chew" and the movie "The Bride of the Fifth Class" starts today! A popular episode of the original story, which is not included in the anime, has been made into a voice drama!

The "Hi-Chew" soft candy and the popular animated romantic comedy movie "The Bride of the Fifth Class", which will be released on May 20, 2022 (Friday), have collaborated to launch the "Hi-Chew to the Movie, Fifth Class. The campaign started today, February 15, 2022 (Tuesday).

Bride of the Fifth Estate" has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" until February 2020, and the total number of copies sold in the series exceeded 15 million (as of April 2021). The first season of the TV anime will air from January to March 2019, and the second season from January to March 2021 on TBS and other stations.
It is a romantic comedy in which the main character, Futaro Uesugi, who lives in poverty, becomes a tutor for the quintuplets who are on the verge of failing school, and struggles to lead them to graduation.

The campaign "Fifth Bride", a collaboration between the soft candy "Hi-Chew" and the popular animated romantic comedy movie "Fifth Bride" which will be released on May 20, 2022 (Friday), has been launched today, February 2, 2022. The campaign started today, February 15, 2022 (Tuesday).

The campaign divides the period until the movie's release date into five equal parts, with the five children in charge of each period. The campaign offers a chance to win original goods and voice contents of the character in charge of each period.

Among them, fans must listen to the "Anime Uncredited Episode Voice Drama," in which popular episodes from the original story that were not included in the anime movie are specially voiced for this collaboration campaign. In addition, "Hi-Chew Mogu Review," in which the five children introduce their favorite "Hi-Chews" in conjunction with the voice drama, will also be available.

The five children will be divided into five equal parts until the movie is released. The campaign is a chance to win goods from the character in charge of each period, in the order of Ichibana, Futano, Sanju, Yotsuba, and May, depending on the period you apply for.
A total of 325 people who purchase "Hi-Chew" will be selected by drawing to receive an acrylic stand with voice and a set of original QUO cards.

2. "Uncensored Anime Episode Voice Drama" Present

All entrants to the "Fifth Present" campaign will be able to view the "Unrecorded Animation Episode Voice Drama". The original episodes that could not be included in the anime film have been specially converted into voice dramas.
Five episodes, including fan favorites "Confession in the Living Room" from Comics Vol. 5 and "Rumor of the Class President" from Comics Vol. 9, can be enjoyed over different time periods. We encourage you to watch the episodes while keeping the original comics on hand.

The five children are bathing in the hot spring at their grandfather's ryokan. In the sauna, Ichika and Sanku laugh at each other's true feelings.

At the party to celebrate their success in avoiding a red mark in the final exam, the five children discuss their future plans before moving on to the next grade.
As they discuss the topic of "Futano's motorcycle," Futano's thoughts turn to the confession he made behind her back.

Part 3: "Confession in the Living Room" - Comics Vol. 5, Episode 38
Ichika, the daughter of the president of Ichika's agency, and Futaro are playing make-believe with each other. In the scene, he confesses his love for Koutarou in a playful manner.

While working together as class president, a rumor is started that "the two of them might be dating. A rumor is started that Yotsuba and Koutarou are dating.

3. Other: "Hi-Chew Mogu Review" with the original voices of the five children

The "Hi-Chew Mogumogu Review" by the five children, which was popular in the second collaboration between "Hi-Chew" and "The Bride of the Fifth Estate" (October 5 to November 28, 2021), will appear again this time with new voices!
The five children compare and contrast different Hi-Chews and introduce their favorite products along with their reviews. The dialogue is also linked to the "Uncensored Episode Voice Drama from the Animation Film". The five children will talk about later episodes and recollections, making this a content that can only be enjoyed here.

<Synopsis

Futaro is a part-time tutor for Gotsuko, a beautiful girl who is on the verge of flunking out of high school and hates to study, and he guides her to graduation.

Their hard work pays off, and the five girls are able to advance to the third grade of high school. After a successful school trip, they each start to look toward their future.
As they spend time together, Gotsuko becomes aware of her love for Futaro, and Futaro gradually becomes attracted to her.
