This Godzilla bust production project was realized through a collaboration between Toho Visual Arts, which has worked on numerous Godzilla movies and other film art, and CoolProps, which produces high-quality replicas of props for movies and other productions.
The actual suit from the Heisei Godzilla series was recast and 3D scanned to create a mold, which was then sculpted by skilled art staff to create the skin texture and color, as well as details such as the eyes, dorsal fin, teeth, and tongue.
The latest technology and the skills of the film craftsmen have finally produced a bust that is as high quality as any Godzilla movie.
