The stop-motion animation "PUI PUI MOLKER" appeared like a comet in early 2021 and immediately became a hit with men and women of all ages. These characters are now available as part of Good Smile Company's MODEROID plastic kit brand!

The first in MODEROID's "Kumitate Morker" series are "Potato", "Shiromo", and "Abby" (?). They can be assembled quickly and without painting. The Akiba Research Institute editorial staff reviewed the "Kumitate Morker," which can be assembled quickly and colorfully without painting, has a gimmicky undercarriage that is fun to play with, and stickers that allow various facial expressions to be reproduced!

So, let's start with the "Potato".

This product features a touch gate that allows parts to be separated from the runner by hand without the use of tools.

Furthermore, the backs of the parts, which are difficult to distinguish front-to-back or left-to-right, are engraved with "Migi" and "Hidari". (*Photographs are of Abby.)

Arrows and star marks are also engraved on the backs of the parts to prevent the wrong direction of installation. In this way, attention to detail for beginners who do not usually make plastic kits and for small children is scattered here and there. This is a nice specification.

It took about 15 minutes to assemble. It was a quick and easy assembly.

The eyes are glossy, but the body is semi-glossy and has a different texture.

Tires (feet?) There are two types of tires (feet?): one for rolling and running, and the other for posing, which can be expanded horizontally.

I can't forget the impact of the second episode, in which Shiromo somehow got involved in a bank robbery and was in tears from start to finish. The package is also based on that image.

Here is the runner. The parts are basically the same as those of Potato, except for the parts to reproduce the difference in fur color.

With its pure white body, Silomo has a simple appearance.

The figure that comes with it is, of course, a bank robber.

Last but not least is Abby.

She is a molker who dreams of one day becoming a de-beginner.

Abby showed us many different expressions in episode 5, "Puipui Racing".

During the race, Abby is unable to eat the food scattered on the course, and she is alone, trudging towards the finish line.

As a result, Abby, who came in first, got a pile of vegetables! Potato and Shiromo look on enviously.

Just by reenacting memorable scenes from the anime like this, time flies by in no time at all!

So, the MODEROID "Kumitate Morker" series, which is easy to assemble and relaxing just by looking at it, is quite fun to play with! It is great to play with it alone, but it would also be fun to combine it with a miniature set to create a diorama.
