Spring Anime "Summertime Renda" Production Site Visit Report, Original Story x Director Conversation Movie Released! ED theme is also decided!

An exclusive interview and report on the anime production site are now available from the suspense anime "Summertime Renda," which will start airing on April 14, 2022 (Thu.).

Summertime Renda" is a suspense work by Yasunori Tanaka that has been serialized in "Shonen Jump +" and boasts a total of 130 million PV. The main cast of the TV anime will include Natsuki Hanae.

The "Anime Production Site Attacking Report & Special Talk Movie," a specially edited segment from the "JUMP FESTA 2022" program, has just been released.

In the movie, we visited the storyboarding, character design, and chief animation director's work site, and experienced firsthand the work of the "chief animation supervisor"! In the latter half of the movie, the original author, Yasunori Tanaka, had a special talk with the director, Ayumi Watanabe.

In addition, the ED theme for the first episode was decided to be "Kaitatsu" by cadode, which is making its major debut with this work. The jacket of the anime disc, which uses a newly drawn illustration, was revealed.

Summertime Renda" is a work in which the known and the unknown, nostalgia and the future are meticulously depicted, and I can almost say that it is the very worldview of cadode itself. And yet it is an intense and detailed scenario with an immersive feel! Cool and cute characters! I love summer scenes, games, and mysteries, so it was impossible not to get hooked. ......
I've been reading the series since it was first published, so I thought, "How can there be such a happy tie-in? I thought.
Kaikatsu" is a cadode song as usual, but it was created for "Summertime Renda". I think I was able to depict a scene that symbolizes the work, with various thoughts and memories running through it like the wind. I would be very happy if I could help you enjoy "Summertime Renda".

cadode, which makes its major label debut with this album, is a three-piece artist group that has been energetically producing and releasing music since it released its first sound source in 2018 as "an abandoned pop unit that redoes youth and turns someone's difficulty in living into heat.
The literary lyrical world of "emptiness and emotion" depicted by Vo: koshi and the midsummer daydream-like oriental sound of EBA, who composes the music, were highly evaluated by the anime production staff and Yasunori Tanaka, the original author, for their affinity with the work, and were unanimously selected as the theme song for the anime. The theme song was selected unanimously.
The song "Kaika" (回夏), which was produced in the artist's natural style while staying close to the work, expresses beautiful summer scenes and the strength of life, sometimes in a light-hearted and sometimes emotional way.
