Nowadays, "YouTuber" always ranks high on the list of occupations that elementary school students want to become. From children to celebrities, all kinds of people are streaming videos on YouTube day and night, and "Youtubers Life 2" is a simulation game that lets you experience the life of a YouTuber.

This title is a sequel to "Youtubers Life," which was previously featured in our " Work Simulation PC Game Special.

While the game still features the same mini-game style video streaming and earning money, the gameplay, challenge, and many other elements have been increased to the point where it can be described as "super". The game retains the cartoon-like flavor of the previous title, but the cute and sophisticated graphics are also a major attraction. Let's take a look at the contents of the game.

When you start the game, you will receive a message from a mysterious handsome man who calls himself Xavier.

The message reads,
You will receive a golden ticket to live in New Tube City, the city where YouTubers live. I want you to use it to build your career as a YouTuber and become the most powerful YouTuber in the world.

The amount of YouTubers is so overwhelming that one wonders how many times the word "YouTuber" appears in this sentence, but I was surprised by the shocking meta story that the previous work was a social experiment to find YouTubers.

After much thought and effort in the character creation process, which allows you to set numerous items such as facial parts, hairstyles, clothes, and shoes, life in "NewTube City" finally begins. Xavier even prepared a new house for us, which was a terrifyingly generous gesture. It is hard not to think that there is something behind the scenes, and one might be tempted to think that there is something going on at ......, but there is no such thing at all, and Mr. Xavier is simply passionate about helping his players become the best YouTubers they can possibly be. Amazing.

When you enter the house, you are greeted with a bed, a computer, a closet, and other furnishings and equipment, and even a flying drone robot. This drone robot has a camera and microphone for taking videos, and even speaks a language to assist the player. We were a little intimidated by Xavier's high-tech gift, and followed the robot's instructions to create a channel on NewTube. This is a memorable first step toward becoming the best video distributor.

Once the channel is set up, we will immediately start shooting our first video. The video shooting part of this work, like the previous one, is in the form of a mini-game in which you increase or decrease five different parameters while selecting cards with reactions drawn on them. The quality of the video depends on how many of the five parameters are maxed out by the time the last reaction is taken. While the system is basically the same as in the previous work, it is more intuitive, with no numerical expressions.

Once you have finished shooting the video, the next thing to do is to edit the video. The purpose of this part is to join together the fragments of the video scenes that appeared on the screen in the video shot earlier to make a single video. There are multiple joints on either side of the fragments, so you must rearrange the scenes so that they are well connected, and use effects to increase the number of joints, in a puzzle game-like mini-game. The video editing part basically follows the same system as the previous part, but the screen has been made clearer and easier to understand, giving the impression that the game is much easier to play.

Once your video is successfully completed, you can decide on a thumbnail and title, publish it, and start earning money along with viewer ratings. It is fun to see the "numbers" such as the number of views, likes, and channel subscribers increase, and it is tempting to upload more and more videos. However, shooting and editing videos consumes a lot of energy, so don't work recklessly and continuously. While eating and sleeping to regain your strength, be sure to work systematically.

The flow from video recording to publishing is the key element of the "Youtubers Life" series, and the system is almost the same as in the previous title. What is the power-up point unique to this title? In this title, players can control a character and roam around "NewTube City" at will. The city is filled with various elements, such as stores for purchasing food and games for distribution, NPCs with whom you can interact to raise your intimacy level, and spots where you can shoot videos, allowing you to enjoy life as a YouTuber while walking around the map as if you were in an RPG. In addition to the main quests to advance the story, there are also numerous subquests and events, so you can have plenty of fun without running out of things to do.

What makes this title even more profound is the "trend" element. The "trend of the day in town," such as the name of a particular game software, the name of a game genre, or even the name of a place or occupation, changes daily in in-game time, and the system allows you to increase the number of views by publishing videos that incorporate many of these trends. The key here is that trending videos must be published on the same day. You can experience the reality of how hard it is to make a living as a YouTuber because you are required to catch the trends quickly and release videos promptly. It's not easy to make a living doing what you love. ......

Being a YouTuber does not mean that you only have to make videos; as a YouTuber, it is important to constantly attract attention and steadily increase your fan base, whether in real life or in games.

This is where the "Instalife" social networking service, which is a photo-sharing platform, comes into play.

By running around the city, capturing the day's trending subjects and uploading them to Instalife, you can get a lot of "likes" and attention.

Furthermore, if you post a photo on Insta that captures the trend, you can incorporate the trending content into the video you shoot that day. This is a great way to get more attention for your videos. This modern and vivid experience of "posting trendy photos on Insta to attract people's attention, and then making sure they are fed into the video channel" could be called an "Internet life simulation" that transcends the boundaries of a YouTuber simulation.

Youtubers Life 2" allows anyone to experience the feeling of being a YouTuber in a casual and fun way by taking the hard-hitting elements of shooting and editing videos in real life and turning them into a casual mini-game, along with elements such as exploring the city and interacting with NPCs. Although it is a game, the numerical reactions to your actions are very interesting, and you can't help but get caught up in the game. If you are interested in the game, please try it and start your new life in "New Tube City".
