McDonald's Akihabara Showadori, which closed in January 2020 due to building reconstruction work, will have its grand opening in early April in the "Kanda Sakumacho Yamaden Building (tentative name)" under construction!

McDonald's Akihabara Showadori Store, which closed in January 2020 due to building reconstruction work, is scheduled to grand open in early April in the "Kanda Sakumacho Yamaden Building (tentative name)" currently under construction at approximately the same location as before. The location is along Showa-dori Avenue, near the Showa-dori exit of JR Akihabara Station. It is located near the Showadori exit of JR Akihabara Station, next to the Burger King Akihabara Showadori Store.

McDonald's is the world's largest fast food chain, with more than 3,000 stores in Japan since the first McDonald's store in Japan opened in Ginza in July 1971. McDonald's Akihabara Showa-dori Store was closed in January 2020 due to reconstruction work on the building, but now McDonald's will once again operate along Showa-dori Avenue in the Akihabara neighborhood for the first time in approximately one year and three months.
