The TV anime "Heike Monogatari," currently airing on Fuji Television and other networks, has released a synopsis of episode 8 and advance scene cuts.

The story features the original character "Biwa" (CV. Yuuki Aoi) as the narrator, Biwa-houshi. The story centers on Biwa's interaction with the Heike family, including Kiyomori Taira's eldest son Shigemori (CV: Takahiro Sakurai) and his sister Tokuko (CV: Saori Hayami), and depicts people who lived their lives at the mercy of the times.

The synopsis and advance cuts of episode 8, which will air on March 2 (Wed.), have been released.

The synopsis and advance cutscenes are as follows
Episode 8 "The Fall of the Capital"
Biwa leaves her family in turmoil after Kiyomori's death and sets off on a journey to find her mother, hearing about the war between the Heike and Minamoto clans in various places. While Tomomori, Shigehira, and others struggle, their chieftain, Munemori, spends his days in Kyoto feasting.
As more and more people join the Minamoto clan, Koremori suffers a crushing defeat at the hands of Kiso Yoshinaka, and is driven into a corner so mentally that he cannot turn back.
